Lol...its very disheartening to see "supposed" Christians totally blinded by the devil. Everything the O.P talks about is biblical. The bible is not a newspaper that you just read anyhow. You need the holy spirit to discern some truth to you while studying the bible.

There are a million and one things that are not stated in the bible for reasons best known to God. Also because God wants us to have a personal relationship with him other than reading the bible like a newspaper.

Per the bolded : going by your analogy, does it mean we can also agree that God purposely didn't mention masturbation because he had already stated that fornication/adultery and all forms of sexual immorality are sins?, no?

No one is telling you not to ask questions. The issue is, are you asking to know or to condemn? If you must find out the truth for yourself, then start masturbating everyday. Overtime, you will start seeing demons having sex with you not only in the dream but also in a subconscious state. A lot of people experience this but they dismiss the thought, saying its only a dream.

Pls get me correctly, I'm not saying masturbation is demonic because I saw the write up somewhere, I'm saying it is demonic because I've had first hand experience. Several other people have had divine revelations concerning this issue too. So their encounters only enlightened me more.

I haven't read the books the op got his stories from cos I probably don't trust the author. The op has read the Bible , you have read the Bible and I have also have read the Bible. I believe the Bible is the only acceptable word of guidance as much as true Christianity is concerned. I don't need to add unfounded stories to complement Bible teachings and make it sound like it's 100% true. Your masturbation may be demonic, another's may be as a result of peer, a host of others may just be adventure and so on. You may be correct in your way tagging it demonic, others may also be correct in their own way and MAY choose quitting as the case may be using other means outside casting and binding of masturbation demons which they don't actually believe in. Secondly, when it comes to Christianity, there's nothing such as "my masturbation is demonic and yours caused by peer pressure", CAPITAL NO!!. it is what it is. In Christianity, every sin of ungodly addiction is seen as demonic. It could start as a harmless act but I tell you , you will only find out later what it truly is about.

That's why it is written in Jeremiah 33:3 " Call unto me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know"

the above passage alone tells us that there are so many things which God (purposely) omitted from the bible which He intends to reveal to us himself and believe this is one of such cases.

Seasons greetings to every one that reads this. This is actually the very first time I'm creating a thread cheesy

So, I want to use this medium to openly renounce my Christian faith. I've been a Christian since the day I was born. Maybe not fully devoted, but I spend quality time praying, fasting and reading the bible on my own. For the past 3yrs, i've experienced unimaginable pain, nothing has worked out for me, and my life seems to be going in circles. I've been praying to God, but havnt got results. Nothing appeals to me anymore. All I think about is suicide and I already got poison. My parents are the reason I haven't taken my life. They would be devastated cause I'm the last child. Money isn't the problem cuz I've tasted money that some working class people have never seen.

Before I joined NL, I never doubted God, but seeing all the hate and negative comments from NL atheists has made me question God. The pain in my heart is too much and I wonder why an omnipotent God would let me or anyone suffer. I dont know why God remembers everyone else but ignores me. For the past one week, I've not prayed because I figured why pray when it won't be answered. So yeah, I've officially dropped Christianity today.

What are the signs of having/influence by a demon?

Compulsive sinning against your will: Addictions, uncontrollable anger, lust, urges to murder or commit suicide, etc.

Occult powers or abilities: Anybody who can tell a fortune, lift an object through levitation, break a solid oak board with their hand, etc. using demonic powers needs a deliverance. Martial arts are known for using demonic powers to break boards, etc. Unnatural strength is a sign of demonic power, such as the man with the legion in the Bible.
Unnatural desires and feelings: Sexual attraction towards animals, unnatural sexual desires, unusually strong attractions towards somebody who is married, past lover, etc. can indicate soul ties and demonic bondage.
Experiencing the demonic: Most often (not always, but usually) when people are visited by demons, hearing them, seeing them, etc., they are in need of a deliverance.
Ancestors have similar problems: If both you and one or more of your ancestors have the same kind of problem(s), then there may be a generational spirit at work.
Obsessions: Driving interests in the occult, demons, and creatures of the dark such as wolves, owls, etc.,doubting God and considering what the unbelievers are saying about God can indicate a demonic bondage. Obsession with death is almost a sure sign of demonic bondage.
Compulsive behavior: Compulsive behavior such as cutting is a Biblical symptom of demonic bondage.
