jakiedudu:
confession of Sanusi saying Lagos is more important than Niger Delta is basically the mind of APC-CPC faction of core north.Tinubu should watch his back cos Abuja mafia are planning to take over his political head qtrs in Lagos state come 2019. That is where the final tsunami will take place.

Lagos is taken already..tinubu knows his limit in lagos now.
They north appointed him caretaker, his tenure has expired. its time for another jagaban.
Just that the majority of the west don't understand nigerian politics.

Tinubu count his cost now and restrategize. He should rally round the credibility of Ambode who is doing pretty good to relaunch himself. The performance of Fashola as Lagos State governor in his first term in office helped ACN to claim most of the governorship seat in the South West. With Ambode, Aregbeshola and Osibanjo, Tinubu can start building a new political bloc that will wrestle power from the Northern ologarchy. If he can put his structure behind Olusola Oke in Ondo State and ensures Oke wins, it will send out a strong message and be the beginning of a new political journey for Jagaban. The truth is among the ordinary citizenry of the South West, Tinubu still enjoys immense followership across political divide.

On the one hand i have no pity for Tinubu because he is being served right for using falsehood to destroy a good man. (What goes around comes around). On the other hand, i pity him because there should be honor among thieves! He has worked so he should chop....but as we all know, you can NEVER go to bed with a snake and not be bitten. Tinubu would do well to heed FFK's advise and begin to retrace his steps back from the trap he willfully entered into and this starts by apologising for falsely maligning a good man. He needs the man now more than the man needs him! Life!

MONITZ:
History keeps repeating itself, a few persons on this forum said sth abt the unholy alliance between the Yorubas and the Hausas, we gave instances where some Yoruba sons were betrayed in the past by this born to rule fellows.

As it was with Awolowo, M. K.O.Abiola, Oladipo Diya, Adisa, so it will also be with Tinubu, there will be no exception to this rule laid down by those born to rule.

How the political gladiators from the South -west never saw this betrayal coming still baffles me because those who re not so sophisticated politically saw it from inception but they allowed their hatred for some persons blind them, they were so desperate to kick someone out of Aso-rock.

When the battle began both the hausas and yorubas had a common enemy and like the dictum : " the enemy of my enemy being my friend" played out then, now that the common enemy has been removed, the time to share the spoils of war is now another war in itself because the Hausas can never ever comprehend the idea of anyone trying to challenge their born to rule mentality, that person is quickly cut to size like the treatment being given to Jagaban silently.

I think it's now very clear to those still thinking Saraki would be forced to leave the Senate presidency that he ain't going nowhere, this is how his trial will continue to be a circus show till the end of his tenure. Saraki knew wat he was saying wen he referred to Osibanjo as an ordinary commissioner because he knows that Jagaban is not one of the real power brokers that call the shots or do u think he would still ve been able to refer to Osibanjo that way if it was Babaginda or Atiku that was behind him?

Well let the old fox lay on his bed because he has already made his bed and although I know he definitely still has some tricks up his sleeves but it is not going to be an easy fight for him because the the northerners are more formidable politically and financially, the bitter truth is the Yoruba Yoruba press has suddenly gone dumb apart from a very few that ve started attacking the presidency albeit subliminally.

Bro..believe me Tinubu best option is to go on self exile by march or august of next year.
Any. Fighting back is straight to jail house.
Beside is not betrayal from the north..is who they are.
They believe they own nigeria..and partially that's fact. tinubu dared them..claiming to be leader of Apc over buhari alone. thats a great sin..is a political blunder ...among others.

i.e. no matter how hard my good friend Ambode works, he might be given the Abraham/Akeredolu treatment come 2019 ? I fear you're right

It's still the people that will vote, before they can manipulate anything, Ambode must have done so badly ---> So far, he's just getting stronger.

Tinubu didn't get to were he is by being an Idiot. The call to Oyegun to resign is more like a warning shot and Oyegun is the fall guy. There are lots of people interested in 2019 and Tinubu is a beautiful bride with close to 2M votes and lots of money.

The real issue remains that religion and politics can never be separated.

The real Muslim have the tendency of Islaminisation of Nigeria and politics remains the best and only strategy.
Nigeria must be controlled by the core northern politicians

I am a Tinubu fan.
A master strategist should know when to pull the plug.
The law of diminishing return is catching up on BAT. When ur protégés are turning on you, then u know the end is near.
Having said that, I believe as grand master strategist that BAT his, he can reinvent himself and build another wining formula.
I won't bet against him. He has done it b4, and he can do it again.
Overall, this is becoming an interesting season film.

The north can't survive if the presidency is in the south. It's obvious that should the country splits, the north will further be relegated to the stone age.

I don't pity polithiefcians including Tinubu. To them, Nigeria is a game being played by the smartest of all. Their interest is their passion.

While the north is planning seriously to still hold on to power beyond 2019, a repeat of 2010 might playout again and it will be all smiles for Tinubu or better still the south comes together in unity plus few states in the middle belt and fight the north at the polls.

In Nigerian politics, our polithiefcians have no dignity and honour. This is hard lesson for the Jagaban grin

Rather than being allowed to participate in the crucial decision-making processes on vital and critical issues of state and governance as any Vice President should, Osinbajo has been kept in the dark about virtually everything and he has little or no power to effect anything.

When such decions are to be debated, discussed and made the Vice President is never invited into the room and neither is he even aware that there is such a meeting going on.

Worse still he is constantly being directed to represent the President at official functions all over the country as if he were more his Personal Assistant, Special Advisor or Minister rather than the Vice President of the country. Osinbajo’s crime is simply that he is loyal to Tinubu and he has refused to dump or betray him.

I disagree with this!
PMB has been so magnanimous to Osinbajo - allowing him to act on 2 occasions - unprecedented in the nation's history.

Such forces can never be comfortable with a well-connected, highly sophisticated, independent-minded, strong, unpredictable, uncontrollable and experienced Yoruba leader and southern gladiator with a June 12th pedigree, a NADECO background, a massive war-chest and a widespread and formidable political base.

My head dey swell o.See how FFK describe JAGABAN in this paragraph! It's breath taking.

I just have this feelings that for as long as he still controls Lagos, Tinubu will still continue to be very relevant in Nigeria politics.

once Tinubu's name is mentioned,u see ibos struggling to comment;Jagaban is too popular to b ignored. Here is a man that holds NO elected post;yet ibos believes that once Tinubu is dead, their heaven will come. Ibos finds it very intresting to discuss Tinubu than their own leaders;they reason, comment, and cry as if it was Tinubu that denies them Biafra. The time ibos spend on Tinubu's matters-who are his friends now,why didnt he go to aso rock, what is he eating,is he in nigeria- transcend what any reasonable mind can understand.

The de-fanging of Tinubu. Even I could forsee where this marriage of strange bed fellows was headed. So now while they spend their time politicking, the rest of Nigeria continues to wallow in the repercussions of their abysmal ineptitude, selfishness and greed.

The loop is tightening round his neck..many will doubt, but that's the sad truth.
Ain't rosy for jagaban.
The north don't deal on sentiments.
Tinubu dare..and the shots boomerang. everyone saw it coming but his fans didn't want to accept the obvious truth..they called it being jealous of an achiever...look where it got him.

This is the beginning of the end of tinubu's political dynasty..he's far spend.and has made lots of enemies.
Fani is being careful with his choice of word..he knows jagaban is going down.and by this time next year..reality will dawn on his fans.

The north made him to protect their interest in lagos..and backed him till now..they northis about unmasking him.for a new lord in the southwest.

He is not the first,Abiola,Awolowo..al went same way..
Pray tinubu realises this on time..and finds his way..cos anything fighting back. The jail house will be his new home. Sentiments aside.
They north has gotten all the needed from him..lagos is not even sure again.

As for oyegun..his days of reckoning is just around..cos he will soon get served.

Watch out, he will die like awolowo
