I wont be surprised if those drones are bugged. The West neither give free gift nor training.

But at this age our military still depend on the West for something as trivial as that.

You kept your paranoid cap on for too long, those are just toys you can find them on konga and buy yourself one, why would they need to bug it? That's a phantom 3 or so uav HD camera

I am sure Merkel will feel different about your post. I am also sure that the Iranian and Russian military will not touch any toothpick touched by the Western military let alone allow them to come in contact with any military gadget be it as trivial as swiss military knife that will find its way back to Russian or Iranian military base.

There are evidence that secret agent had bugged something as common as a coin. Yes, a quarter you read that right!

Have you ever wonder why the US embassy in Nigeria issues security alert to her citizens well before hand only for our ogogoro military to come and tell us every thing is under control after the damage has been done.

This is just ridiculous. These Brits never fail to show how silly we are. Are these the sort of drones used in their military? I see these everyday at Greenwich park. Na Childs play

Some kind things tire me o. Haba, am still screaming out here.

We have this slave mentality that if they don't participate in any of our dealing then it's fake. Looking at the drone flight power, it's only fifteen minutes. Now how much distance can that cover putting into consideration our peculiar security challenges.

The thing tire me pass you. If you give any 11 years old pikin that thing, the pikin go figure out how that toy dey work within hours.

That what we had to flown in UK military for and we also had the nerves to post it on social media.

Seriously I only feel sorry for those that still have hope that one day our country will be great. Witg the present and past crops of leaders we have had, even if we get the right ones at this minute it will take us fifty years to undo the damages (That you can tell from how the average Nigerian approach sensitive issues) they have done.

Corrections Please:

1. First off, these are photos lifted off my Instagram page - https://instagram.com/sundayidajili
2. This training was conducted by my humble self and NOT by foreigners.
3. If you follow my postings, you will find that this training is on the use of small drones for acquisition of images for Analysis, change management and Image analysis.
4. The drones used for this training are designed and well suited for this purpose. They are made by DJI and are for commercial Photography use. They are NOT toys. They are not specifically designed for military surveillance. That the military is using them can be related to devices that have common applications between military and civilians e.g. phones, vehicles, cameras, flash lights
5. Nigeria's UCAVs, long range and long endurance drones are strictly operated by the NAF Only. Yes the NAF does have these assets.

I was alerted by a staff who saw my Instagram photos on NL. Am not too frequent here, but a lot will remember me on these posts

Maybe the ones you saw with the kids are toys, but the ones here aren't! Read my comment on this.

The earlier we stop celebrating mediocrity in this country, the better. A bunch of poorly trained Nigerian military men have gathered to learn how to "play" with off-the-shelf consumer grade DJI quadcopters and we are making headlinesof this
HAba! These things have max of about 25mins flighttime on each battery, stock low range consumer-grade radios and rx!
Why are we like this in this part of the world Why?
What decent surveillance would be carried out at the low altitude, range and flight times that these things are capable of?
Please , DJI phantoms ARE NOT military equipment.
