No university degree is useless. It all depends on who has the degree and what he/she can do with it. Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was a zoologist and today, he is more celebrated than many doctors, lawyers and engineers.

You are myopic in thinking and shallow minded to say marketing is a useless course! Show me a successful business or organization today without a marketing department... Marketing is the beginning and end of every business and marketing is also the heart beat of business. Before you establish your business you carryout marketing research, after production you need marketer to sell your product and when your product is having problem or experience downward slop in sales you need a marketer to carry out marketing research. If you want to engage in sales promotion you need a marketer, for new product development you need marketer, to study consumer behaviour you need a marketer, to build customers relationship you need marketer e.t.c

Were you smoking weed when u typed Marketing as one of the worst course. Remember marketing is everything and everything is marketing. Do your research well about the course called MARKETING and u will understand what am talking about. Don't even try and compare a marketing student or scholar with any profession.
