SEO Servicing Pricing Someone asked me this question few days ago… ”What is the cost and price range when doing analysis of a client's business/website to determine SEO work to be done?” Although I have been pondering on this for some time especially now that I want to go live with my knowledge in that area, but I can’t stop wondering how to rightly quantify the cost of doing SEO for different set of clients [Individual/personal - Small/medium scale businesses – large organization/corporation] ------Considering the fact that when it comes to building a site for different sort of clients you normally consider some of the following to arrive at your total cost of doing such..things like--------------- -Domain name [ local (whogohost) or foreign( namecheap ) domain registrar .com or .com.ng or .ng all od which attracts different price -Host Account [local (whogohost – gigalayer etc ) or foreign host ( namecheap or hostgator with each host having different flavor/packages which all attracts different cost ] -Information/Database driven/ecommerce site: any of which attracts different set of cost -Other Addon’s like: Ongoing maintenance/updates after hosting – comprehensive SEO works etc -Your own cost of design All of the above make up what you will use to arrive at your final cost. ========================================================================================================== When it comes to SEO what and what are you going to use to arrive at appropriately pricing for your job? What variables/parameters do you use to arrive at your pricing? ------------------ For an existing business/website does those variables/parameters includes ---------------------------------- -Separate cost for SEO Audit and this also depends on the client brand and project size. -Existing SEO Strategy twerking -Keyword research and placement on specific identified pages/posts of the organization site -The number of keywords the client/customer want you to rank for -Existing contents optimization -The time frame of the project etc -Will the pricing be per hour?...Weekly? Monthly? or what? --------------------------------------For a new business or website--------------------------------------------------------------- -Does it include all of the above plus -Competitor’s analysis -Developing/creating the right SEO Strategy for the organization as they may not have one. Or what exactly do to price your SEO Services rightly?, hope I have asked this question rightly any takers here? Can anyone put a figure to this?
