U shud call the hotline number of ur bank.. Tell them what's the problem...


We know that the bank has a cut off time.. Sometimes if it's offline, u have to wait for the next working day for clearing...

It is not a big problem. It happens when the money is around this figure and if that person is sending you money for the first time.

Simply ask him to call his bank and they ll allow the money to go through.
Call your bank as well, the moment u re able to explain to them u ll receive the alert in 15mins.

I have gone through it severally.

have the same issue from the same bank. person made a transfer last night, has sent me the debit SMS he got but no notification on my side.

Calm down...

It could be Network from your bank. Moreover, is your SMS alert active? Have you been receiving SMS alert lately?

@Leopantro please from which bank to which bank and how much is it . And please when you receive the alert let me know .as for me I do mobile banking the money have not shown in my account .

Don't fall victim. Wait for the alert before you conclude the person sent the money. The alert isn't enough self. Make sure you login, or check on ATM , that's when you can be sure the person sent payment. I hope its not an online Biz transaction.

have called my account officer who confirmed no transfer was made. we contacted the senders bank and it was confirmed that the money was debited but the transfer was not done. they said they are working on it, we should give them time. the sender is someone with a high reputation so I never distrusted him.

customer care number of the banks. this happened around 9am. we simply googled the numbers and called them.
sender = first bank
mine = Gtb

Chairman,don't be too lazy or so daft to go google and search for First bank website and navigate to their customer care line number.They're always online 24/7 to answer you.Forget weekend or holiday.Becareful you might be exposing yourself to scam.Thing like this happened sometime they want you to call or visit for clearification before allow the money to reflet in your account.

You can also contact DBN CC (0700 300 0000) but I doubt they will be of much help because I wasn't able to get any from the Customer Care Representative yesterday. If you have the mobile app or internet banking profile,check your account to get the balance. The name of the depositor won't be there but your balance should reflect a transfer(if indeed there was one).

Diamond Bank has been having issues since Friday.
