The observations are general about the overall conduct of the election and did not in any anyway question the eventual outcome or the legitimacy of the winner.

They also observed correctly that all the party complained about inducement which mean that all of them were guilty. Going forward, I hope INEC can take a look at the observations and correct the loopholes in subsequent elections.

Edo election was manipulated and rigged.

1. Sharing money openly and even issuing ticket without the fear of security operatives around and using security personnels to destroy and steal ballot box.

2. 1st time result collation was prosponed to give way to perfect rigging.

3. Elections observers and Journalists driven from collation center.

I think the best way to handle APC is the river and bayelsa do or die type of politics. Oshiomole and INEC used the quietness of we Edo people against us....

How can you go home happily that you have won election only to hear a different figure announced by INEC. It's a shame on the part of Buhari, INEC and Oshiomole who was the pioneer of one man one vote.
I love your comment about the do or die politics, I said something on athread earlier that pdp need more of wikes and Fayoses if they want to get back on track in subsequent elections...

Sorry but you are wrong. Observations made by election observers are not a valid grounds for cancelling election but for improvement in subsequent elections. Only the tribunal or an appelate court can cancel an election result once it is declared by INEC.

You should also understand that no election is perfect anywhere in the world. That is why the law always provides a mechanism through which aggrieved parties can seek redress when they are not satisfied with the outcome of an election.

The last part of your comment is very funny. You talk as if you are not a Nigerian and this is the first time you will be hearing about party agents inducing voters with money and canvassing for votes on election day. It is nothing new and the observers observed correctly that the two parties were guilty.

which tribunal, better yet whose tribunal, the loyalist?
Guy dis unprecedented in the history of politics in Edo state, and am sure in Nigeria. Never in the glare of law enforcement agents, it used to be hide and seek approach. Oshomole , buhari and their lot can never amount to half the man Jonathan is , even though he appeared clueless at the time. He didn't commit treasonabe offences. They open their gutter of mouths to say Edo pple have decided. Lubbish, We never learn , not from June 12, not ever...

The international observers can go to hell for all I care. Any man or woman who lived in Edo state during the time of PDP will understand why it was necessary to kick them out. Why are they still trying to whine like a child denied breast milk. God bless Osho Baba. Yes we agreed there was some element of rigging but come to think of it who introduced rigging and share the money politics to Nigeria? Isn't it PDP? Why are they now crying after we best them to their own game?
Sense is actually a scarce commodity these days.

Nobody listens to observers in this country and i dont even know why they come because we have decided to do things in our crooked way. When they told us that elections in. Rivers and Akwa Ibom could not be regarded as election,it was Supreme court that decided that everything was fine in those states and the reports from observers were sent to trash can..In Nigeria just empower INEC. to declare your candidate. and the. rest will be history. We are not ashamed to celebrate fraud. I honestly don't get it, is it that you guyz are new to happenings in our political space or what? Our democracy died with the exit of GEJ? Oh please shush if you have nothing meaningful and sensible to say.

Perhaps you haven't got experiences, i mean first hand experience so stop painting one administration black while showering the other with encomiums.

I guess you did not read this or perhaps just trying to be mischievous: **A local observer, Sadoh Danladi Sunday, stated that it was shocking that the results announced by the INEC did not tally with those his group got from the field.**

If you have got a lot of energy to burn, please I ain't got non to burn okay. I never told you elections have been free and fair in Nigeria before. But sharing money openly while our security agents watched speaks volumes. And it pisses me off when people come here to say no part of the world where elections are free and fair. They should just say its only African continent and not the entire world. So even with the introduction of card readers we can't still conduct 90% free and fair elections in this 21st century?

#EkitgGate?

Ekitigate is a propaganda that only existed (not exists as most of the Yoruba propagandists have now been sidelined by the Hausa/Kanuri block) in the figments of the imagination of APC national falsehood organization headed by Lie Mohammed.
Every honest Nigerian knows that Oshokomole Ayo Fayose is the most popular politician in Ekiti state and will trounce a joint ticket of Buhari,Tinubu and Kayode Fayemi if they were to run against him for office of governor of Ekiti state, talk less of presenting only the political dwarf called Kayode Fayemi to run against the gallant ,egalitarian grass roots generalissimo known as Oshokomole.

So if I hear any gate for dat ya dirty mouth again, na closing slap you go receive

Look my brother, I don't give a rat about PDP or APC. When I first heard that media men and some party's agent were not allowed into the collation centre, I thought it was a lie because the complains came from PDP agents. If its found to be true, the election should be out rightly cancelled. There is nothing for INEC to improve on there, that is not how elections have been conducted in Nigeria.

As for money that was flying around. I was really surprised because I thought there was a law that stated that there should not be any form of campaigning on the day of voting. On that day people were openly canvassing for votes while the security men watched HELPLESSLY
were PDP agents not also allowed entrance?

The summary of what they said is that the election wasn't free and fair. in what other way could they have questioned its legitimacy?

It's sad. Free and fair election seems to have gone with Jonathan
What are u talking about? even in d last presidential election, d so called free and fair election was mared with sharing of money by both parties in edo, d last anambra governorship election that brought obiano also had financial inducement.
all these were present in jonathan's time, stop painting jonathan's election as spotles.
