Good morning great Honda gurus. I have been having issues with my Honda Hala (1994) Automatic Gearing. It doesnt start until i shift it to D1 then to 2 and till i get to 4. Virtualy am changing the gears manually. I serviced the gear box severally and had to change from one ATF to another. I have even changed automatic gear sensors but still. At first after repairs, she will work well and gradually back to ground zero. I need advice pls. I was given the option of taking the Box for servicing again which am tired of doing, changing the whole engine with the Gear box and lastly buying the gear box and fixing it with the present engine on the car. Thanks

If you get a working used transmission, its your best choice.

My break light is permanently on most of the time . this started last week after i gave it to a car wash guy to wash the underneath. Normally, if i start it and remove the hand break, the light will go off, but after a minute or so, it comes on.

as nobody gree answer me before...

Conner44:
please how much can I see a good automatic gearbox for Honda Accord 2004 i4 engine. I need an approximate or exact price so I know where to buy from

I've now gotten a good tokumbo gearbox. Please advise me as to the material needed to successfully do a change.

I know the right oil to use but I need to know How many litres of oil is recommended that I buy? Remember it's recession time and that oil's price is not a small number.

Can I just refill and test drive and keep on driving without draining again (once the gearbox is confirmed working perfectly)

I Have always used dextron III in this current gearbox. Can I do a test run of the new gearbox first with dextron III and then flush and refill with ATF-DW1( although I see ATF-Z1 in the car manual)

6 cans of DW1, empty the contents of the torque converter before installing.

Thank you boss. This torque converter, is it the same atf that is usually contained within it or something else which needs to be refilled after emptying?

Hello everyone, I need some help with this. I've been having issues with my crv 2008 engine and my mechanic advised that I should get a new one. But a new one costs an arm and a leg at the moment with the current recession. I was then further advised by 2 spare parts dealers to get a Honda accord engine as it would work as well. Please good people, I've been skeptical and been looking for sure advice. Lol. Is it okay to use a Honda accord engine for a Honda crv? Thanks for your anticipated reply.

Pls, I have been looking for Honda oil 0w-20 which is the recommended for my 2012 Accord. I have not been able to see one. Can I use this Toyota 0w-20?

HELP!!, my radiator fan keep blowing after parking, with the engine off. This started last Friday, I will have to disconnect the fan to avoid running down my battery. But once the engine is cold, this doesn't happen. What could be responsible and what do I need to do .

Honda Pilot 2004.
Note... No overheating, everything works normal, coolant in place and OK.

. One kazeem said the thermostat is responsible, the second one said I should change to double cell.. They are no way going to touch my car. Gurus, help out.

How about checking up the fuse/relay (as your case may be) controlling the fan for anything that could short-circuit it e.g. rust/gunk, moisture or a melt?

If this were to be the case, replacing this might just solve the problem.

While you're at it, watch out for Gazzuzz/ luvinghubby to add more perspective.

Cheers!
