A young lady identified as Bimpe took to her one of her social media accounts to reveal how her church pastor threatened members of the church who have refused to bring their ‘first seed’ of the year. She posted saying:

“I left MFM cos my Zonal pastor was threatening brimstone and fire against those who have refused to bring their first seed (your entire January earning (s)), please what will I eat the entire February? So, cos I wasn’t willing to give an overfed pastor m sweat, I don’t deserve blessings? I’m done with these churches, biko.”

Christianity has gone to the dogs.. Seriously, we Nigerian Christians are the cause of all these. If we boycott doling out of cash in churches, then these demonic self acclaimed men of god wouldn't be taking advantage of us.

That's how one girl that used to be Muslim followed a brethren to church and what did they preach to her in church? You must pay your tithes and even if you don't have money, borrow.. I mean, what the furk? She stopped attending churches instantly and concentrated more on home studying and prayers..

There was a heavy mummur in my church,RCCG,after redeemers university was advertised today....the mummurings started after the minimum tuition fees was announced.this clearly revealed that churches are not helping d society and d congregations arent happy about the situation

I mean, the bible said "where two or three are gathered in my name , am present".I wonder why people still go to churches and contribute money when they can simply have fellowship where money won't necessarily exchange hands.

Some pastors sef... I've learnt that God's blessings under this grade dispensation is not in anyway tied to whether we give our offering, tithe or anything. That was in then! I mean what did you pay God to get saved?!

Giving is however a character that every believer must have. Where some people are saying they can't give first salary or tithe to God, some people are giving 90% of their income to God.
Personally, I've vowed to give God half of my next salary..., not because anybody convinced me, its just my way of thanking God for providing me a job.

Another preacher said, if those under law ( law never profited them) could give ten percent, how much more do we think we should give God now that we've found grace?

God would bless me so much that I'll be able to give 30% to God.

And to the Lady.... She was never a part of God's sheep. But one of the pretending ones. How could you leave church cause of that. Doubt she knows what the Bible says about tithe, giving and all that.

adonbilivit ur reasons of leaving mfm,cos only ur physical attire has already quited u at mfm,but if ur an ardent Christian,u would have come to know of the verse in the bible about our first seed offering entailing our first earnings of any stuff.

but this is the school that church members especially the poor and average ones donated their funds towards the building project etc. now they can not even sympathise with them to make it affordable to them. or even as part of their community support project.
