raydatluvs:I see no reason why the seller won't give you the password! You want to wipe the phone! Ok try lets see how lucky you may be ; heard of someone who wiped a Xiaomi mi max but refused to due to the password. Xiaomi is really mimicking apple, security in miui 8 is really matured. |

Gptech:I don't support wiping assistance. or else we will indirectly be Aiding and abetting thieves...at the expense of our treasured gadgets op should return the phone or get the seller to unlock the phone. raydatluvs: Gptech:I don't support wiping assistance. or else we will indirectly be Aiding and abetting thieves...at the expense of our treasured gadgets |

I wish I knew better. I thought an account could only be register with a phone,so I was to change the password. I had not even changed the password. I didn't refuse,I didn't know I was to. NgcoboP: |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 5:19pm On Oct 02, 2016 |
raydatluvs:Bro to be frank, you cannot even wipe the phone even if you want to, just try and get to the guy. Its even possible the seller stole it from someone, that's what I have always thought. |

raydatluvs:oga.... everything sounds fishy about your story, I'm not saying you stole it o(but if) I can't imagine what the owner will be going through right now with the current prices of good phones in the market. if it's a stolen phone + with the mi account active on it you'll be tracked if the owner knows what to do. so kindly return the phone to the seller for him to unlock it if he doesn't want to send you his password if it's truly his phone he will unlock it for you. and if stolen pls the phone should be returned to the rightful owner. the phone is useless to you right now without the right password so don't waste your time about flashing it 2 Likes |

harmbhrosz:Yea you are right, you know many of us to like reading those plenty instructions when setting up a new phone, we just skip But xiaomi really tried on this, I didn't see the importance of a mi account, just registered because I wanted to comment on mi forum. I later discovered that the mi account goes even more than I thought. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 11:32pm On Oct 02, 2016 |

Gptech:lol I'm the inquisitive type when it comes to what I want to purchase, I knew the features, history, MiUi of Xiaomi before I got my phone... I even heard about mind blowing feature that was suppose to come with MiUi 8.... that one will be able to track his phone even when it has no sim or internet connection, guess it was just one of those bloggers hipe anyway |
