Well you can. At least they didn't let tribal differences tear them apart even when they profess to one religion, Islam.

In my opinion, Ghana is way better than Somalia.

I meant Ghana's domestic politics should be left for them to handle. I didn't imply anything as regard the disgraced Laurent Gbabo.
grin grin angry

No one has mentioned Ghana's domestic politics here.

David Cameron was the former British prime minister who threatened Ghana with aid and grants withdrawal should Ghana pass the anti gay laws!!!!

It snowballed into Ghana signing a pact with the EU to undermine indigenous SMEs and industries in the subregion until Nigeria had to rectify that slaving treaty April last year.

How do you measure the work rate of a sick man with that of a healthy man in the same scale? Reeks of cowardice to me.

Anyways, Sudan and Libya both war-torn countries are still doing well than "peaceful", "tribal-rancour-free" Ghana

Bottom line, did Ghana sign the anti-gay law or not?

How do you measure the work rate of a sick man with that of a healthy man in the same scale? Reeks of cowardice to me.
Never forget, a man who is healthy in body might be sick in the mind. Many African people are sick in their minds.

Anyways, Sudan and Libya both war-torn countries are still doing well than "peaceful", "tribal-rancour-free" Ghana
Libya was doing better than well when Gaddafi was there. Western interference caused that country to experience war.

Are you sure Sudan is doing better than Ghana?

Ghana failed to sign its own Anti gay laws because the British government through diplomatic pressure and blackmail asked her not to. That my Joe, is outside the purview of domestic politics, no?

I am unable to see the correlation here. Please compare Ghana economically to countries who aren't neck deep in civil war.
joseph1832ng:

I didn't say otherwise. I said Libya is doing better than Ghana by all economic indexes. And Libya is still going through the aftershocks of the Arab uprising till this minute.
joseph1832ng:

Have it googled for simplicity. Sudan tops Ghana.

Well in politics, there's something call 'Influence'. It allows the wielder to mess with whoever or whatever they deem fit.

Once upon a time, Britain still wielded tremendous influence over our domestic politics. Hope you know this?

I am unable to see the correlation here. Please compare Ghana economically to countries who aren't neck deep in civil war.
Well let's start with Liberia, or Gambia for example.

I didn't say otherwise. I said Libya is doing better than Ghana by all economic indexes. And Libya is still going through the aftershocks of the Arab uprising till this minute.
Understood.

Have it googled for simplicity. Sudan tops Ghana.
Okay bro. When I have the time. I stopped meddling with international politics because our domestic politics affects me more. It's becoming worrisome.

Hmmm. So our able shrewish granny is celebrating her birthday today? Can't say I don't wish her well.
Anyways, wishing all your heart's desires and purpose are fulfilled in due time.

I hope you've learnt to be less angry now that you are no longer a Mod though. cool

Joe, knock it off, will you?

Influence is different from bullying and intimidation.

Influence is diplomatic supplication and cajoling. Not public humiliation. David Cameron said, in front of an international media, " if Ghana passes the anti gay laws , we are going to cease our annual grants and aids".

Mind you, almost 90% of Ghana's budget is from foreign aid. That's not influence Britain was wielding, it was a spectacular show of unbridled power and humiliation.

joseph1832ng:

Understood.
Unfair comparisons! Liberia is still having scars of her civil war and the Ebola debacle. Gambia is tiny without any natural resources. Pick a country Ghana's own size.

That's the more reason to look at geopolitics when domestic politics and economy are taking serious hits.

Better join me in foreign affairs for some serious trolling cheesy

Did you say, "99.9% of those fvck boys cant fvck me"?

Okay, lets do some maths here. Lets assume that out of 170 million Nigerians, only 1 million are fvck boys. If 99.9% can't fvck you, then it follows that only 0.1% can fvck. 0.1/100 = 0.001.
0.001x1000000 = 1000.

It, therefore, means that 1000 fvck boys can still fvck you. There still hope for fvck boys if you ask me.
