its true, I can't count how many south africans that have told me igbo people are wicked, ask them if they've had any ordeal with an igbo before, they'll tell you its what they see on Africa Magic.

There was a time South Africans will ask if you're Igbo before having any sort of dealings with you.

Nobody cares if you like it or not.
Nobody forced you to watch them in the first place.
Go and look for another means to be popular.
And for the op, stop copying from facebook to Nairaland.

The girl is on point like Madonna and Buhari's noses. I only believe Igbo richmen are ritualists because of their films I watch which Kanayo attested to it that it's the true stories they submit to them they play. I've never seen any Igbo man with human head and alm oil doing money rituals in his room,i only see those stuffs in movies and anytime they say Igbos do money rituals a lot, several movie scenes in lots of ritual films like Billionaire's club, blood money, occultic wisdom, etc flash to my brain. To the extent that if Chief Pete Edochie dresses weird in occassions,i used to remember his roles in movies and almost see him as a ritualist, same with Kanayo, but until recently I read their interviews

If e pain d native doctors let them sponsor their own version of movies highlighting their positive angles.

For a long time we depended on the efforts of these native doctors. And u know what, most of their mysteries have long been demystified. If that is what the African culture represents, then there is an urgent need for replacement. No apologies.

what do you expect when one particular region has colonized d "Nollywood" meant for Nigerians and Nigerian actors.

Just sad noone is looking into that.. d Hausas were forced to bring out Kannywood and yorubas Yollywood when they could no longer tolerate d nonsense.

They can keep producing useless, baseless + unclad movies for all we care.. Their own pple now resort to yoruba movies sef, such a shame

you still don't picture what she's saying?

you as a Nigerian, what exactly can you point to as your valued culture.

I thought we're youths and we're suppose to be innovative with our reasoning.

look around you today, how many of your friends, families, even you yourself or neighbours still goes to native doctors. or how many native doctors are you seeing around.

people don't simply do this things and we as the current generation is suppose to modernise our cultural values and promote them,

it's really painful seeing how gullible we Africans are with religion.

we don carry Christianity for head pass the Europeans wey bring am. Islam nko we don dey top.

look at China and India are they not prosperous even with their preserved culture? watch their festivals on their channels you'll be proud of being part of this earth with how they've computerised everything
ask yourself where we are today with the religion.

I'm not against any religion o as I'm a Christian myself but pls the truth be told we too carry am for head.

we now portrayed our culture to the world as EVIL

Apart from ‎Chief Pete Edochie's excellent acting prowess, another positive thing I love about his performances in movies is his Igbo dance whenever he wears those large Igbo skirt and his red cap and starts to dance,i love Chief Edochie,I always almost go crazy with excitement whenever I watch Pete Edochie's dance steps and they'd say some things to him in Igbo repeatedly, and he would answer reeatedly by saying Uhhhnnn,Uhhhnnn,Uhhhnnn. We say Uhhhhnnn in Yoruba when we answer a call though but I don't know what it means in Igbo.
Also,i love the way Pete Edochie sprays money,Oh God,baba is a raw and abundant gift to nollywood. May God not take him away from us now. God Bless Chief Pete Edochie.‎
I'm an Afonja(Yoruba) but Chief Edochie is one of my top 3 favorite actors in Africa. ‎
But someone should tell me the name of Chief Edochie's Igbo dance he dances to flute(always in front of Igwe) and he runs around and lifts his steps one by one at one point,i love that dance too much and pls tell me what they call the large men skirt he wears in Igbo. Igbos have beautiful culture ‎
