coolitempa:if you feel that Lagos is overcrowded, then the question u should ask is what are the things that attract people to Lagos?seaports,?airports,? and other facilities?. the good wayout is simple, let the fg provide those facilities in other parts of Nigeria and see if Lagos will not be decongested in two years. make warri, calabar and Port Harcourt seaports functional and see if my people will care to touch down on Lagos. when u amass the whole facilities,u equally amass the congestions that come with it. 3 Likes |

PaulIdu: Calabar and Lokoja were never capitals of a United Nigeria. Calabar was capital of the southern protectorate while Lokoja was capital of the northern protectorate. Then the name used was Royal Niger Company. From 1914 amalgamation till 1992 Lagos was the capital of Nigeria. Besides, the argument for lagos is not just that of being a former capital, a city with 60% of our industries, 90% of our financial institutions, our biggest airport, Seaport, commercial nerve center etc ought to have a special grant. Its an open knowledge that 70% of Firs taxes are collected from Lagos alone. The west really have to sit down and think if this APC venture is profiting them or profiting Buhari alone who has gone the extra mile in creating North East Development Agency. A region that contributes nothing to our economic and financial life. 1 Like |

On one side of your mouth you said Igbos who built Lagos need to be deported or dumped into the lagoon, the Hausas need to go to Abuja, then on the other side of your tribal marked mouth you're asking for money from every body. Life must be hard where ever you come from. |

neocortex:Yoruba masters? You are not even ashamed that igbos owe half of Lagos. Laziness and blindness is just a disease. Keep hiding the truth and continue to die in silence. I wonder why some people are not ashamed to compare themselves with people that fought Nigera, America and Britain for good 3 years, given only 20 naira after the war yet controls the economy of the nation. I challenge you to fight just a tribe in Nigeria for just one month and I bet your lazy ass will never recover in 3000 years. Stop comparing yourselves with Igbos, we are not mates, you should look for a minority tribe in Nigeria to compare yourself with. 1 Like |

The people that humiliated your so called gods ; Awolowo, Adekunle, Idiagbon, Oladipo Diya,Obasonjo, Shonekan, Abiola and got away with it. You people are the most miserable and cowardly people on planet earth. You only know how to incite others but cannot be courageous enough to avenge the humiliation of your gods.if i were you, I would ve at least picked up arm against Nigeria. 1 Like |

When the South West thinks they are smart, we will always elude them. Your Eko Atlantic project which Tinubu is fighting for is good! But let there be other major projects in other regions to equate to that! Isn't the seaport monopoly enough for you guys? The same reason why Tinubu ousted Jonathan, The same reason he installed Bubu and padded him with Osinbajo for the Selfish Interest of the South West, The same reason they claimed to have discovered offshore oil wells in Lagos state which geographically belong to Bayelsa, That same reason is the reason he is asking for this! To build a Lagos mega-empire for the wild waste. True federalism is not selfishness or tribal oriented! True federalism is for equality! 1 Like |
