Why do ignoramus heap every blame on Buhari? Knowingfully well that emefiele is the dumbest & worst thing ever to happen to this government. His monetary policies & supervisory mechanism is mediocre & disorganised at best. Good News; the REPS has passed a vote of no confidence on him. Wailers are not wailing louder.. Stupid wailers
Obey the truth!

how can we grow evonomically if we dont support local manufacturers? There should be incentive in form of easy access to forex in this hard economy.

Very unfortunate situation. They should give priority to those who are manufacturing in Nigeria

it would be a great loss if this company that has given prior notice finally leaves. it would signify that the govt only speaks without action with regards to making forex available to manufacturers. more would then leave. where is dunlop elite today

Instead of giving HAJJ pilgrim dollars at subsidized rates,Buhari should have given this company that employs 1500 Nigerians the needed Forex.
Dutchboy weeps for the foolishness of Nigeria's leaders.

we still have oil and in this mess. what happens in about 31yrs from now when the oil stops. a better focus on an enabling environment to aid local brains to thrive else the economic future of this once great nation becomes an atlantis of the seas.

Erisco look for Anoda business, you can't compete with Dangote.

The most useless comment I've ever seen in my life. Very useless, in short, so useless that even a 2 years old will find it senseless..

If the likes of Gionee, Xiomi, Tecno, Infinix, etc., had this kind of stone age mentality, they wouldn't have been making waves in Africa presently.

If people had this mentality, then there will be only one man - one type of business in this country..

CBN governor should be relieved of his job .

I have said this several times.

The manufacturing sector is the worst hit in this poor economic policy induced recession.

Am very disappointed at Emefile

Buhari must be an Endtime soldier, he wants us to starve so that we wont think twice to accept the 666 chip that they would give with a bag of rice..

Imagine just one of those $250k bundle used for election going to Erisco foods.

Do you mean the one distributed at Teslim Balogun stadium in December 2014 to secure Buhari's APC nomination?

As I always say, Buhari is not business friendly. The CBN is keeping the forex for Dangote, notwithstanding that some of his business interests in other African countries is sapping our scarce forex.

Forget about the soundbites, Mr President's standing order to CBN cannot be overrule hence Erisco should approach a commercial bank for a higher exchange rate and consequently transfers the cost to the consumers.
well it's not as easy as you pointed out, erisco products are slightly higher than most of the imported tomato brands we have, he is even managing to stay afloat with a higher price margin, if he decides to obtain forex exchange from the banks at a higher rate, it will further dampen his woes he has already accumulated.

In most cases its difficult to transfer either the entire additional cost or no cost at all to the consumers.

Buhari is a curse. Nigeria will be a failed state by 2020 if we don't boot this dullard of a president out of office

The only way out of this Dilemma is for the clueless-in-chief, chief excuse maker of the federation to step down as president of the nation.

2000 persons to loose their jobs. Haaaaa, we are in for it, in this country.

He deserves to be impeached. He clearly has nothing to offer. Its a shame that i voted for him.

when I heard that erisco tomato plant was going to be one of the buggers processing plant in Africa I was happy not until I heard that dangote tomato plant will sooon be coming into existence.
at that moment I knew it wouldn't take long before erisco tomato plant would pack up. only the name dangote can easily defeat any brand name regardless of its size, talk more of his influential power.
