lawmerchant:Lawmerchant I don't think you're right on this one. I know for a fact that CIC asks that you apply from your home country for a study visa. boss thesoj, michv and other gurus can you please clarify this issue before people get misinformed. Thanks. |

PLEASE guys, please I desperately need your advise on these issues 1) my sponsor is not a family member 2) I've been unemployed for a year without any income but I've been under going a fashion designing course with a certificate to prove it; hope these wont affect my chances of been approved. 3) which is more resonable; to do medicals before submitting my application or to wait for the immigration office to call for medicals. 4) is it reasonable yo submit my application through VAC or myself? I will really appreciate responses . please |

lawmerchant:Great news if true. I also think the whole 'scrutinizing' process will be handled differently there. CIC Accra dey vex for Nigerians. |

Hi Everyone Once again, Thank you all for supporting me during my application period, i know its not easy to wait but always keep hope ALIVE. I just have one question to ask. I'm currently studying in Canada, I want my wife to come and join me, but without our 7 months old baby, I want both of them to apply for the visa but when the visa is approved, i want only her to come and then the little one can join later. The question is will she be allowed to travel alone without the baby?? Thank you very much for your anticipated answer. If you are coming to the university of Guelph, Hala@me 1 Like |

My concern for all this TRV apps is that you cannot predict anything. Whether by date of submission or by date you passed medicals. Please advice, I did upfront medicals and it turned up passed september 29th exactly 5weeks after paper application. How long will dey delay the process? |

1) What evidences do you have to show a VO that your sponsor will not defect in sponsoring your education? Legal, picture, etc evidences. 2) It should not as long as you explain that gap in your SOP. 3) Either choice is up to you. I would suggest you need not do medicals until you are asked to. #MoneyandUncertaintyWise 4) This is also up to you. Not too sure which route is faster now but neither would affect a VO's decision on your application. I hope this helps. Omodollyp: |

GCMS is a document that shows a complete process of a treated application including the VO's decision while TRV is the Visa most people wants here in this forum. sassyboochic: 1 Like |

Hey guys, when you get your approval mail when is the passport considered valid? Is it immediately you get it or is there a situation where your resumption date is for January 2017 but your visa comes out now and it's not valid till January. Because my admission is for January but I'd like to be in Canada this month and I was if my visa would be valid. Thanks |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Osemigho: 7:05am On Oct 06, 2016 |
jagoshogz: This thread is for potential students in Canada. But there are other routes to Canada. Firstly you need to know which one you prefer. Secondly, if student route is your choice, you need admission in a certified Canadian University or College. Afterwards, you apply for student visa AKA TRV. Congrats If your choice is student route as you have come at the season of student application to university for fall 2017 admission. If you already have admission, then you move to visa application stage. Google CIC website for requirements and read previous thread of this for how to best package your profile. If you have money, consider Australia. Easier admission and visa with similar prospect. If you very brilliant and VERY GOOD in maths, English and Essay writing, consider USA. Easy admission, if you pass some exams well, with slightly different prospect. All in all, this is little I know and have no authority over. Be cautioned before you rely on it completely.
