I for one has encountered alot of ppl like that especially in this lagos that they will make you feel like this new generation mum can't takia of there babies.

I was taking a walk one eveing n using carrier to carry my baby,a woman called me n says "sisi mi bawo ni" i answered.she was like if your mother carried you like this your legs won't be straight the way it is.i just told her thank you and walk away.
That is how at 4 month mil was talking how my baby cant sit unaided and this is d same baby that started walking at 9 month.

Secondly i don't give room to anyone to form an opinion about how i care for my baby

In other news, I went for anc yesterday and I got on a bike for the first time in a long time, hmmmm come and see drama to come down o. Na so my leg hook and I was telling the guy to bend the bike, bend, bend until one leg touched the floor then he held my purse while I used my hands to carry the second leg down. I won't try it again.

In the theatre, one anestiologist was on ground, he said he couldn't proceed as they had to be 2 on ground. He tried calling the 2nd person and she wasn't picking, all these while, I was still pushing with contractions, the woman finally picked and asked d guy on ground to go ahead, he replied her that they both needed to be on ground, and I heard her shout through the phone that 'be there na'

At this point I just started praying, casting and binding. The gynae to do the surgery got angry, nurses were angry, I was just praying, didn't want to go into surgery with this type of atmosphere, all this while, kept contracting on the theatre table.

The woman finally came after they kept bombarding her phone with calls, gynae said the contractions were too strong so they should give me general anesthesia as I won't be able to sit still for spinal, I refused fast fast, heard too many stories of people who don't come out of GA.

Glory to God surgery started and went well, my daughter was brought out first and then it took d gynae sometime to bring out my son, he said he was looking for his leg as he couldn't drag him with his hand, so he came out in distress . I caught just a glimpse of them before they were both rushed to SCBU.

I was stitched up and wheeled to the ward. Was able to get up the next day and I went to see my babies. My heart broke at how small they were.

My road to recovery started, or so I thought....

My BS, My Testimony (Part 3)

MATTHEW
3 days after my CS, I started feeling pains again, have chills and high temperature. To walk was a problem, I couldn't bend, I couldn't get up from d bed except with pains. I complained to d doctor's and they said malaria.

I was started on malaria tablets and my pain killer dosage continued, once the pain killer wears off, I would feel so terrible, I started looking forward to taking the pain killers as I need to go feed my babies.
After 2 days and i wasnt feeling better, I complained to the docs again and they changed the malaria tabs to injections, then took my blood for malaria test. I was on malaria injections for another 2 days and felt slightly better, so I started pressing for discharge, although I was still so much abdominal pain. If I complain about the pain, they would look at me like 'you just had CS na', so I kept mute, continued my pain killers and hoped it would go.

I was subsequently discharged and I moved to mothers room as my babies were still in SCBU and I needed to be around to feed them.
The first morning after my discharge in SCBU, I felt something wet on my nightie in my tummy area, my CS line area, it was really smelly.
My heart broke, could it be pus?...I put my hand to check and yes, my CS line was infected and it was leaking pus. I went back to d ward I was just discharged d previous day, met a doc who said I had already been discharged and needed to go through A&E. On my way to A&E, people were looking at me funny, I was smelling!

At A&E the doc pressed on my tummy to drain out the pus, my sisters you needed to see d way it was pouring, everywhere was smelling, she had to wear something to cover her nose, she pressed and pressed and it poured on. She had to loosen some stitches to drain it well, and it splashed on her body and everywhere.
She started saying 'Jesus Jesus, this woman you're lucky, how have you been living with this, thank God you came when you did. This is serious, God saved your life'

After she drained what she could and dressed d site, I was able to stand straight and walk well that I couldn't do for days, she readmitted me and I was taken back to the ward

OMG dts so harsh, wat a thoughtless woman, lyk her hubby has prayed more thn u 4 the baby. Ppl can say trash a lot. I remember my gud frend frm school who knew I had been married a year plus n still waiting calling me suddenly one day n asking "pls I just want 2 knw d name of ur baby" N in my mind am lyk, ok why not just say wats on ur mind or better still ask wen I put 2 bed! My husband's half sister got married in 2013 and she has been ttc and I married 2015 but anytime she see us she will be asking why I have not conceived and she is abt 37yrs old and she talks anyhow. The last time she saw me I was 9weeks gone she was asking why I am fat like this and why I'm so dark. May while she is also fat and she bleached oh.

The Last time she came to my house she called out to me I answered but DH told me to go to d room so she wouldn't see me (cos we don't want them to know I am preg cos of her careless talk) and my DH went to open for her and her DH. My DH told her I was sleeping and she said I wasn't sleeping. Herself and DH went and told their other siblings that they must get to the root of my action. That they will still pay us impromptu visit. That I want to spoil my DH good reputation with them.

Again, her dh is not happy that I don't relate with him closely that if I don't want to relate with his wife I should relate with him. Pls I don't how I will relate with my DH step sisters husband closely.

My reasons why I keep to myself : I am a semi quiet person , they are way older than me, they feel I am to exposed cos I schooled abroad, they don't allow me talk in any conversion and they are very controlling and dominating. So I avoid them.
Now my DH is saying I should balance thing up with them for his reputation sake. How?

I really want the birth of my baby to be a surprise to them but with all dis petty wahala I don't know.

Baby fawqiyyah is 18weeks old..she can roll from back to front and front to back.. she has fallen from the bed 3ce..thankGod its not so high.. she comes out of her net if its open. she blows bubbles with her mouth and she drools. . someone said she is teething., she has refused to sit. if you but her to sit, she will straighten her legs and attempt to stand..mif you refuse, she will start scream.. and yes! she can scream the roof down.. she will scream till she gets what she wants..
