Without insulting my intellect, I'm asking all creationists who oppose evolution to tell me what happened to the dinosaurs.

Before I answer your question, you'll answer this:

1. Anything that we dig up that is supposedly more than 250 000 years old should have absolutely no radiocarbon in it whatsoever. In the light of this, explain the popular notion that dinosaurs lived millions of years ago.

2. If dinosaurs are really tens of millions of years old, why have scientists found dinosaur bones with soft tissue still in them, including what may have been blood vessels and cells? Carbon dating isn't the only method. It's only used for bodies that are a few thousand years old.

Brother, we dey vex?

Well, before we discuss how dinosaurs fit into Creation, we have to make sure that the identity of dinosaurs are certain, unambiguous and not questionable.

So how was the age of dinosaurs determined?

By finding the age of the adjoining igneous rock in whatever stratum they are in.

Kikiki. So, the dinosaur and the rock came about the same time? I thought the earth was billions of years old? According to your evolution, when did dinosaurs come along? Is there no possibility that the igneous rock inside which the "fossil" is found has been there millions or even billions of years before the dinosaur appeared? grin

Dont 'brother' me. Wait. How old do you think the earth is?

BTW. This was in the link that you gave me. There are various explanations for the soft tissue.
Scientists recover T. rex soft tissue
The Associated Press
WASHINGTON — March 24, 2005 - For more than a century, the study of dinosaurs has been limited to fossilized bones. Now, researchers have recovered 70 million-year-old soft tissue, including what may be blood vessels and cells, from a Tyrannosaurus rex.

Your question is vague and a mirage. If we stand on the side of creation of course we would say dinosaurs were created and if they are no longer walking the earth then how does that negate creation?

what would sound crazy is if you also believed that dinosaurs as huge as they are made out to be actually also evolved from a single cell and somehow got conveniently targeted by a meteorite from outer space which erased them from the surface of the earth.

I suggest you rephrase your question or risk giving youself pulmonary embolism due to anger on this thread.

Definition of igneous rock:
"Igneous rock (derived from the Latin word ignis meaning fire) is one of the three main rock types, the others being sedimentary and metamorphic. Igneous rock is formed through the cooling and solidification of magma or lava."

So in other words you're saying the lava solidified with the bones and it gives an estimate of the period thy lived.

I feel like I'm wasting my time here, if you don't even know what igneous rock is

Through the use of index fossils ie: Fossils with a known age range.

What happened. They didn't fit on Noah's ark? Smh. The dimensions of that ark can't take a T-Rex.

First off, don't use 'as huge as they are, they were made from a single cell.' Sperm cells of different animals give rise to huge animals so don't come up with that fallacy. Nobody has stated the exact reason for the extinction of dinosaurs so stop putting words in my mouth. And, stop making this about evolution. I asked you a simple fucking question, and all you do is make this about evolution. Its irritating. Answer the question and go, if you can't, go and sleep. Simple.

Blah blah blah. You think a faceless internet person can have any effect on me? Really? Once again, for someone that doesn't know what igneous rock is,stop trying so hard to sound smart. Its cringey and irritating.

Could it not have been that the magma that covered the bones of the dinosaur came from an eruption that happened millions or even billions of years after the dinosaur died? grin grin grin

Young man igneus rocks are formed via volcanic activity so who was there years ago to say how and when such a volcano began and when it actually erupted and the frequency of its eruptions which eould have formed a strata?

A volcano could appear within 2000yrs and erupt 10 times within that 2000 yrs but those would have witnesses........ Bit who was present who kept records in the stone age and was able to document volcanic activity which acted as a guide to todays scientists?

All we have are tons of theories and assumptions and guesses...if those guesses are right or wrong who from the past is available to concur or deny?

Igneous rocks are formed by volcanic eruptions. Living creatures get buried by the molten magma/lava before it solidifies, preserving them.

An example of what happens when they aren't preserved by rocks includes fossil fuels like crude oil, which came from organisms probably long before the dinosaurs. Your ignorance is painful to read so if you don't have anything tangible to day, please leave. I asked a question, just answer the question and tell me how you want to fit it into your creation story. That's all I'm asking for. I've never heard creationists involve dinosaurs in their stories.

In that case the dinosaur bones would be even older than the rock. This would mean dinosaurs are even older than scientists think they are. It's unlikely because bones that are exposed will not last very long. Scavengers like hyenas, bacteria, and acid rain, will destroy them.

I don't know why that is so hard for him to understand.

I suggest you first try to find out how long it takes for bones to decay and then ask yourself if by some freak coincidence a dinosaur would drop dead now and then a volcanic eruption would occur near where it died and lay rotten and encase its bones in magma.

In dry areas bones can stay without decaying for tens of thousands of years....So assuming volcanoes came first how would life be in a volcanically active region and why would creatures with survival instincts opt to live around them?

if Dinosaurs came first then how old are they really? Can rocks be used to give their true age? Both of them cancel out each other.

Yes. That's the dilemma! It could also be that dinosaurs were older than the rocks in which they were found(that's if those bones belong to dinosaurs).

Don't tell me it's "unlikely." "Unlikely" is no longer science but speculation.

So, according to you, hyenas eat and swallow bones? If bacteria can destroy bones, why have they not destroyed the bones of humans buried thousands of years ago? Chai! Seun go and read. This is embarrassing. grin grin

Moreover, what factors would make a bone not last long if exposed? Can such factors be more damaging to the bone than the terrible, out-of-earth hotness of molten magma?

I said it already. Please respond to the op and let me hear the creationist POV of the dinosaurs. That is all I'm asking for.

For the sake of replying you, there are so many environmental factors that can happen to get rid of them. Turning to fossil fuels is one. Bacterial action on them. Acid rain and whatnot. That is why the exact time of their existence is given by an ESTIMATE. 65 -70 million years for this one. 70 - 90 million years for this one. Its very likely that within that time, an eruption can happen and preserve one of them. The preserved ones are what archeologists are able to extract and rebuild.
