*just on a lighter note* grin
Someone reduced his age on his CV before going for a job interview. The panel told him he was too young for the position.

@amicable09, thanks sis for replying me. God bless you. I have been following the thread and also submitted to different schools . I even did interview at living stone college ikorodu today, please what do you know about the school? looking forward to your reply. thanks

Sorry to butt in.
I attended the school but a different annex close to my area. It should have close to 15 annexes now if not more. Salary might not be huge but it is a start if you eventually get picked. What role did you interview for?

Ladies and gentlemen, today i saw people making good use of their twitter to good effect and in getting opportunities for themselves.Don't know if it's a trend you have taken note of but it's working for some if you dare to be creative, be initiative and have that audacity.

Saw the story of one guy who sent a tweet to Oando Plc asking how many retweets it would take get an internship with them,so they came to an understanding and luckily the guy got a 1month Internship with them(not a 1month internship as a petrol attendant o wink ). To the point the CEO of Oando (Wale Tinubu) sent a congratulatory message to the Guy. Ofcos you know what that means wink

Another guy too sent something similar to the CEO of Chocolate City Music group (Audu Makori) and the CEO of mypaga (Nonso Oviosu) about ideas for funding and a sit down interview. To cut the long story short they all got favorable responses. Am not conversant witht the rules of this thread, would have posted pixs to cut the long stories short.

So for some that all they do on Twitter is to flip through numerous timelines, trending hashtags etc,do something good for yourself. Not saying this trend would work for everyone/you but you could with the right connections and initiatives that no one has done give yourself advantage over your peers burning MB for no good use.

Sometimes that connection you so much desire isn't in that imaginary big office, company or govt parastatals,in some cases they are right in front of you, on your timelines,FB waiting for the one who would be have the audacity, tenacity and be daring to ask...
