I doub't they were.
If you don't meet the benchmark for your course, you can't get that course again. In order not to just drop them (those who didn't reach their benchmarks) like that, uniben gave them another chance in other less competitive courses. A chance to get admitted to study any of these courses is what they are being screened for. However, the screening doesn't still guarantee them admission, as admission is subject to result of screening -- which we have no Idea about, currently.

What baffles me is, will uniben drop someone who was eligible for screening, and admit another who wasn't, but registered for supplementary screening?



Those eligible for screening that aren't admitted in their preferred course, what will become of them? Will they get another course?

Is it possible for uniben to admit all those who were eligible?

For instance, if someone who scored 220+ doesn't make the lists (first, second, and third), will uniben drop this person or give another course?

my brother didn't meet up with the bench mark for his department(chemical engineering), so he applied for the supplementary list and filled pure and applied mathematics. The problem now is that he has been invited for screening but on the invitation letter the course is still chemical engineering. Now he doesn't know which queue to join, whether engineering or physical science..
