Redmi Note 3 camera: 16 MP, f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, front camera 5 MP, f/2.0, 1080p Redmi Note 4 camera: 13 MP, f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, front camera 5 MP, f/2.0, 720p iheanyi4u: every other thing seems same except maybe some few stuffs which may not be worth the price change... even resolution redmi note 3 is better source: http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=8291&idPhone2=7863 |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by iheanyi4u(m): 2:32pm On Oct 07, 2016 |
NgcoboP: OK aside the camera I don't think there is any other reason. Besides since Xiaomi refuses to release a snapdragon version. Wetin man go do |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by GrandMufti: 8:14pm On Oct 07, 2016 |
iheanyi4u: For now note 4 is only available in China. So you will have to wait for snapdragon version as it will come with a global rom |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by GrandMufti: 8:21pm On Oct 07, 2016 |
40manlappy: Yes. You could use the sim 2 slot for sd card, but mi5 is a single sim phone, so no option to extend memory |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by iheanyi4u(m): 8:53pm On Oct 07, 2016 |
GrandMufti: That's where folks like Kulimart and elijahdre comes in. Note 4 loading. Tired of the crappy battery on the note 2 |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Nobody: 8:57pm On Oct 07, 2016 |
iheanyi4u:if it's battery life better buy gionee M5 |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by iheanyi4u(m): 9:03pm On Oct 07, 2016 |
NgcoboP: M5 ke. I find gionee very cumbersome and their OS isn't half as evolved as miui. Sticking with xiaomi bro. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Nobody: 9:11pm On Oct 07, 2016 |
iheanyi4u: then appc8 what you have |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by scotweezy(m): 11:17pm On Oct 07, 2016 |
GrandMufti:This is wrong! The mi5 has two nano simcard space, no option to use sd card. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by scotweezy(m): 11:23pm On Oct 07, 2016 |
The only advantage the redmi note 4 prime has over the redmi note 3 pro prime is on the aspect of inbuit storage space, 64gb to 32gb. From my own point of view the Redmi Note 3 pro is a better choice if the storage space is not on top of your priority list. |

iheanyi4u:Seconded! If not for the battery, could easily hold on to the redmi note 2 for the next 2 years. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 12:11am On Oct 08, 2016 |
The review of the redmi note 4 by gsmarena is timely. The performance of both the note 3 and 4 is almost the same. Apart from being more beautiful and slightly faster, plus the option of a 64gig rom, the redmi note 3 pro seems better in all other aspects. For me, apart from aesthetics, there are other things I consider in a phone, like good battery performance, speed, and very good sound quality (especially via headphones). The battery, camera, and sound quality of the note 3 are better if not far better(battery and sound quality) than in the note 4. |
