I think its part of the regular aches and pains associated with approaching 3rd trimester. If your LO is moving and the pain is not that severe, just try and rest.

If it becomes unbearable, you should see a doc for general checkup.

The kind bleeding I had last night eh, hhmm. the blood kept pouring, double pads kept soaking. Its well sha. I pray no one experiences this . Its well, I know God ll gv me another in due time. Teamies wad up, did scan yesterday and baby measured 16wks 2days,supposed to be 15wks 2days by LMP,well baby was active and moving around

@ekemimiabasi.... I honestly feel you are the one making your home unsettled... the names the child bears really doesnt matter and whoever names then doesnt matter.. so far they have good meanings and the child is blessed..
when I was pregnant with my first, I had a name I was calling my lo and hubby was cool with it.. After I out to bed, Fil came with a list of names and asked us to pick one.. what but do I have a choice? we picked one and we felt since it was his first grandson from his first male child db we should honour him.. when we agreed to his wish, he consoled us by footing y the naming ceremony.. it was like a mini wedding. .hmmm my mum gave him his second name and insisted it should be on his birth certificate. . but what I observed is my Mil calls him the name she gave him..my mum calls him by the name she gave him, I call him by his nickname and everyone is happy...
FASTFORWARD to by secnd child, Fil did the same and I protested..I was angry, hubby was upset, Mil was upset (she wanted to give her a name) I was like I carried this chikd for jine konths, I went through the labour pains alone, I will nurse the child alone, I will have sleepless nights alone and I wont still have the opportunity to name the child! ko possible. .
my Fil kept malice with us for 2days.. it was so bad that he didnt even touch my child for those two days. Mil came to beg us to do his wish and we agreed. . Again, he footed the bills of the naming ceremony. . we are all happy.. I just want my kids to be blessed and have a happy and stressfree life

please make peace with your husband and keep your home.. mil's can be funny.. call your child the name you want to give him or give him a nickname. your husband wont bow to your wish.. he will want to prive he is a man.. yeah! THAT EGO!

@Godmother.. your baby is still preterm at 36weeks.. you have less than 5weeks more to go.. isn't is small compared to the past 36weeks? pls be patient. .allow your baby bake will.. you have been doing a good jib please dont give up.. dont induce labour.. it migjt fail and you might end up on the theatre table filled with regrets..
eat your fruits and veggies.. enjiy the kast moments being single and free cos when the baby comes, you will never get the time back.. sleep lie a pouch of potatoes... when the baby comes, you wont get even an hour straight of sleep again...eat well..when the baby comes, you will have to squeeze out time to even eat..watch your favourite series., when the baby comes..you will become old school..
babies that stay longer in the womb is usually stronger. .dont stop taking your walks..they help in cervix dilation..

I'm doing just fine, just getting small small signs that I and baby are closer to meeting each other. This week I experienced increase in discharge and heaviness in between the jajaina and my not so obvious bump just tripled in size, now everyone looks at me with pity.

Mamas oooo....pls anyone awake? I need you all....I noticed my bloody show his morning which kinda continued till evening... so I decided to go to the hospital just to check and all, I wasn't having painful contraction then...After the Doc checked, he said my cervix hasn't fully opened...but he didn't tell me how many cm or whatever, I even forgot to ask..He then said I can go home. but now the contraction is very painful oooo....having it for 1 min 24 seconds at 7/8 mins interval...waiting for the next contraction like

I'm not really sure.
The cramps are contractions..... they should be painless and mostly just a discomfort. If they are painful, you ate something that triggered thru contractions..... pineapples, unripe pawpaw and potash in some soups or delicacies do. You may want to take a close look at your meal. Take lots of water when the cramps come.
Or better still, see a Dr about it if it's painful.
It might be your baby giving you heads up.


The numbness you feel is normal in pregnancy.... why do you think we waddle?
You even wake up in the middle of the night with a bad case of muscle pull....

The back pain is cos your tummy is getting bigger and affecting your balance. Good posture while sitting, picking things up, standing, sleeping and walking should minimize this ache.
Also see your Dr cos some people experience just back pain as labour signs.



In all mothers should try and pack their bags at least 2 months ahead of due date. Even if it's just hospital bag.

I hope your hospital isn't far from your house and they have a resident Dr. If yes, you may head out now if you have the means.
If no, just keep breathing through your mouth to ensure baby gets a lot of oxygen, lie on your left please and ask dh to massage your back. Don't eat or drink anything anymore.
Monitor your baby's movements.... they usually rumble and tumble kicking hard and stretching..... it's a good sign.
Don't be scared..... women like you have been doing this since time immemorial..... you can do same too.
