please,gurus in the house help a brother my newly bought Etisalat line is not bringing out 3g .please what should i do ? it's really frustrating me

Location matters too.
Eg, etisalat doesn't have 3g in my school, ABSU.

I don't think thus has anything to do with location. moreover ,this is the second time I would be using it in Two weeks. I'm a student of OAU and my roommates also use Etisalat.

check the APN on your phone for the sim in question. ensure its etisalat.com.ng

check the APN of the etisalat line, make sure its etisalat.com.ng

no, leave those as they are.
what kind of phone are u using? if its dual sim phone, what sim slot is your etisalat on(1 or 2)?
may be you should try creating a new APN

what are the manual settings for Etisalat for creating new APN?

me too dey wonder oo! in fact I had to switch the sim to know the problem was from the slot but still getting same thing .

I don't have option to choose among the 'g' I can only chose where I want the 3g to be activated .

Two things i suspect & they are:
1, It is either your phone can't use 3G on sim1 & sim2 at the same time or
2, Etisalat 3G frequency is not provided by your phone. You may want to know that the frequency of your phone on 3G is 2100MHZ where Etisalat may provide either of 850MHZ & 900MHZ

Having check through the specification of your phone Tecno M7, i find out that the only frequency of 3G in your phone is 2100MHZ where Etisalat frequency may vary frm either 850MHZ, 900MHZ or 1900MHZ.

That could be the reason Etisalat 3G is not showing.

For better clarification, you can call customer care on 200
