But onnoghen was not arrested. Two Supreme Court Justices were arrested one from South East, Justice Ngwuta precisely (http://sunnewsonline.com/security-operatives-raid-judges-homes/) and justice Inyang (http://politicsngr.com/dss-arrest-supreme-court-judge-justice-inyang-okoro-akwa-ibom-elections-bribe/) Besides if we go by sentiments, I think PMB won't have a problem picking justice onnoghen as the next CJN. At least 50% of SC justices in Nigeria are corrupt.
He cud still appoint a southerner,not necessarily the onoghen who the govt may av massive evidence of corruption against.
This for me is a long overdue cleansing of the judiciary.
