The Ghanaians have impressed albeit in just one game.

They stunned the USA.

And The Asians give our girls lots of headaches at the U-17 level but at the U-20 level, we always overpower them.

The only times we beat an asian team at this level was I believe when an Ngozi Okobi-inspired Flamingoes dusted then defending champs, Korea DPR, 3-2 in 2010.

In 2008, it was 2-1 also in our favor against South Korea.

After these wins... I don't think we have beaten the asians at this level.

Chartey:

The African girls can't match the Asians. They look lighter and turn way faster and this plus their technical superiority gives them a huge advantage.
Also the African coaches at this tournament are just horrible especially that Cameroun coach.

Nigeria needs 4 goals.. Which is frankly mission impossible.
The NFF should start booking the team's return tickets home.

It was the U-20 coach who made that statement, which is totally absurd.

I do agree that we do a lot of who know who in Nigeria, but to assume and reach such conclusion withiut any piece of evidence or info that made you conclude such ( like in this case) .in certainly defers logic and intelligence.

Is it that No one of this girls have football sense?

They have not been trained by a coach I think the guy must be a shoemaker or a kolanut seller.
The team has no ability no technical skill they just pass to opponents never look up always caught in possession.
This is the worst team I have ever seen.

Okay... I see. So uhmm.. You wanna create a topic on NL?

Well, you're aware there are sections under which topics are created right?

When you click on "Nairaland forum" at the very top of your screen, you will open up into the frontpage. That's possibly how you got to this thread since you aren't an ardent sports follower.

So now, in this frontpage, you will see a line-up of sections on nairaland just before you scroll down to the front-page topics.

In each section, there's a "create new topic" clickable which when you click on will lead you to where you can begin.

The "create new topic" is normally located just above the list of topics under the section u are in.

Thanks kiss

The referee will have to give four red cards to the Koreans and award five penalties to Nigeria for that to happen. I think they might get a goal if they keep the pressure.

Are you sure we won't boot all the penalties over the bar.
In our match against England we had 32 shots only 5 on target!

Ghana will beat Paraguay and qualify. Japan will beat USA to make things easier. It's what will happen in the knockout stages I don't know.

I know lots of u-17 girls who can play much better than this.
Have to agree with the poster who said they were not picked on merit.
To play well and lose will be commendable.
There's no co-ordination at all.
The coach shoulda suggested long ball tactics since these koreans are short.
Am far from impressed sha. Them no try at all
Re: Korea DPR Vs Nigeria 3 - 0 :FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup (Full Time) by TheSuperNerd(m): 3:04pm On Oct 08, 2016
Meanwhile in the other game it's Brazil 1-1 England (halftime score)...

It will be really really super bad if the flamingoes don't score at least a goal in this tournament.

That's a very unpopular record to have.
