I was shocked becus i av always gotten this negative perception about the city... but i doubt if it was this present governor that did the job there..


but that city is really beautiful and have roads channeled within.. with amazing structures... that city can do more if well promoted... i fell in love with the city when i visited..

Thanks for being sincere and you are right that Okorocha cannot take credit of that as it has been on for 40 years from time of Ndubuisi Kanu that drew the master plan. Some parts of Owerri just like every city in Nigeria has failed infrastructures and old buildings which is the bone of contention lately as Okorocha is keen on changing those places to be at per with the newer parts of Owerri. Opposition are doing everything possible to make Okorochas urban renewal fail by employing every means possible but I know Okorocha will as usual outsmart them. God bless Owerri.

people have money and are coming in from Lagos, p.h and every big city there is in Nigeria, we are thinking home, BT when we see that those places with virgin lands, lack access roads, they will just take it back to where they came from. this December that what will happen if things do not change. we will just move to the next city (awka or Enugu ). most especially the aba millionaire that have been buying lands up and down all around owerri.

Then you can know what hospitality contributes to a nation's economy.
Hotel business rocks in that part of the country,take a visit,then a ride around the state with optimum security.
