You are so pained, has it gotten to that? Your own daughters, it's your type that will consult juju on land matters
I'm just telling the truth. If a girl tries that trust me not even supreme court will save her. Your kindred can forgo your father's bought property but no d inherited land. Heads will roll for it.

JUST LISTEN TO IGBOS ON THIS THREAD BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS AND DEM LISTEN TO YORUBAS LIKE URSELF, U KNOW YORUBAS ARE A HOPELESS CASE.

You are classic example of what the human mind should not get involved in. For you to have issues with my identity proves my broader perspective on humanity, tribalism do not tickle me but tribal customs that alleviate the dignity of man do!

Very good move. The female gender shouldn't continue to suffer a raw deal in this country.
women will forever remain weaker vessels in our society, I might decide to include her in sharing of the properties but she can't even get closer to Lion share which I suppose to inherit as the heir apparent... whatever pleases me will she get, I will retain my Dad name but once she marries she is automatically another family

TOMORROW A LAZY MAN, THAT SHE WILL FOLLOW, WILL COME TO FIGHT OR KILL U AND HER OVER UR FATHER PROPERTY.

IF UR FATHER WAS ALIVE, WILL HE EVER ACCEPT THAT? I AM A FATHER MYSELF AND I KNOW I WILL NEVER ACCEPT THAT.

NYWAY IGBOS WILL NEVER GIVE TO HER WAT WAS NOT ALLOCATED TO HER PERSONALLY BY HER FATHER.

THE OLD MAN KNOWS TO GIVE HER EVERYTHING THAT BELONGS TO HER AS A WEDDING GIFT.

WHILE SHE IS WITH US SHE IS TREATED EQUALLY BUT PROPERTY GOES TO MUM AND THEN HER SONS.

Kudos to the Supreme Court for this landmark judgment. Finally, Igbo women are considered as equals in Igboland.

These same lesser (temporal beings as someone referred them) are allowed to bring moneys and other properties from their husbands without qualms. BTW, are they not from the same ancestors the men came from. I am not happy to learn this part of Igbo culture, it is less than slavery over which we easily accuse other races.

Igboman is wise and his decision is solid. They know that when the woman get married, she will enjoy with her husband the inheritance he must have inherited from his father.

This is why the Bible made it clear for you to marry from your tribe.

They're trying so hard to destroy the core secret of the igboman family. This is thesame thing that have successfully destroyed most of the black American families ( feminist )

If the father has a son or sons, she has no right for the father's property unless willed to her.

With this ruling, he better have a will existing at the time of his death so that everything is defined. if there is no will regarding the property acquired outside the ancestral home, before the law the daughter has an option to contest for a share if she feels likes.

Pls Our ladies are not temporary beings they are regard as pride with which we expand and make in laws. If a lady is not married and she is with no child, she must remain in her father's house and will laid to rest there. If she has a child out of wed luck and the child is a girl, she will bear the name the family, be protected and married off as rites demands every other ladies. So our girls are not treated in any way less...

No, bold people like us, force everybody on the right path. As long as they have us, we will get there.

Even Igbo women dont want their father property wen they can have a mumu yoruba retard like u, property.

My property goes to my wife and from her automatically to our sons and if we have none, my daughters but our ancestral land/property goes to my brother or next of kin.

Then she shouldn't cry when it turns bloody. To me if my sister is married to another man & a property is not willed to her, she should just leave in peace for the sake of peace. I wouldn't hesitate to kill or get killed to maintain my father's and brothers linage because her linage is with her husband unless she is some way out of marriage.
