Is Osibanjo not a Professor of Law?

God will not come down to help us in this country, let us help ourselves before its too late, it might be your turn tomorrow.

Buhari will make history, as he's gonna be the first HOS/President to be removed from office twice.

If I were a Judge and anytime those illiterates and lawless SSS Officials bring any of those Justices they kidnapped to my Court, I will order all the SSS Officials present arrested and send to prison not minding the consequences.

Abducting Supreme Court Justices?! This act of impunity is unbelievable

That shouldn't stop the NBA from taking a firm action against the DSS / FG.

If they allow this go unchallenged then it will amount to giving up their right as an independent arm of govt.

The judiciary shouldn't allow itself be muzzled by the executive in the guise of fighting corruption.

Please can you give us an idea of what the NBA can do to DSS/ FG? Can NBA too arrest Director of SSS or head of FG which is Buhari? Beside boycotiyng the courts, what else can NBA do? I begiii, go and sit down. More corrupt lawyers and judges will be arrested in the coming days.

The executive can do the arresting but it is still the judiciary that will adjudicate over the case. You will soon know how powerful the judiciary is.

which Nba ? Thé Same that kept mute when à lawyer was murdered in Rivers State by political
thugs, the NBA sees nothing, hears nothing and
does nothing.
5 corrupt judges are arrested on allegation of
judgement racketeering and less than 24 hours
later the NBA has declared a state of emergency
(whatever that means).

I read people's comments and I wipe for the future of this nation. Anybody can be summon by DSS or SSS for questioning. It shows no one is above the law. Corruption has eaten deep into this country especially from the angle of the Judiciary. Nigerians and one-way thinking sha. Like someone said Buhari got balls. GEJ or even OBJ didn't have the balls to question and investigate all these our corrupt judges.

so, why did they release him?.. U get zobo for head?

It was earlier reported that one of the arrested judges was cooperating while others where not... possibly he has confessed, offered useful evidence, and is now allowed to return home, pending the lodging of formal charges in a court of law.

There is no reason for him to held indefinitely.

Reading through all comments, I can't but continue to pity the future of this society. It seems we don't want the situation of this country to improve. We have allowed tribal/religious etc sentiments to make us tools in the hands of thieves/selfish individuals. It seems we are contented with the level of decay in our system. Let's keep on shouting RULE OF LAW[that did not stop them from wrong deeds]...
