sarrki: I hope you read this Saark! Bet me your Tinubu will beg the hero to challenge Buhari in 2019. This is the only way he can remain relevant politically, both in Southwest and in the centre. Tinubu knows this is his only chance to overcome the tsunami that is about to overwhelm him. He needs the SS and SE now and the only unifying factor is the hero you chastised. He, Tinubu that dehumanised the said hero will come back to repolish him... and you, Sarrki or whatever, will be the biggest mouthpiece for that job. Mark my word. Just like Haaman was the bearer of Mordecai sceptre of honour, so will you and Tinubu bear that of Jonathan. Nobi this naija politics, Just wait and watch. Whom the Lord has blessed, noone can curse. God has blessed Jonathan, all that the rest of you can is to ask God to be like him. 3 Likes |

48cents: At least you got some facts right! 1. Tinubu like a logos PDP chieftain once said is a local ludo champion who went to single handedly try his luck against national chess champions! (Keyword here being "ludo" which is a game of chance and "chess" being a game of tactics) 2. Tinubu's relevance even in the southwest after this will be as a mascot and figurehead, interests will be determined by consensus! And that is as it should be 3. Eventually, a united southwest will have to reach out to the southeast and south-south as the southwest alone won't prevail against the hausa/fulani hegemony's onslaught! And that is a politifact! And why should this be? Because alliances built on common interests outlasts alliances built on common enemies! The southeast and southwest have been convinced to see each other as enemies for sometime now but on a daily basis we live and interact with each other and have more in common with each other especially tolerance for differences than with people of the core north! 4. If we in the south play this right, then tinubu's humiliation would have been a necessary sacrifice and a blessing in disguise in the long run 1 Like |

devilson: do you even know GEJ was not meant to contest in 2015? I doubt he imposed himself with the backing of ur pple and some criminal elements in SW who promised to vote him in.. But as expected, the clueless one didn't know 2/3 rule existed. I would love to see an igbo president but I fear d worst.. They will colonize the entire place, it's what they do. They are not as accommodating as others which will make it difficult. look at Ekwueme when he was there, all appointnents went to igbos, almost d same thing with GEJ 2 Likes |

Realman87: This is incorrect, the colonialists no longer have a say on what happens in or to Nigeria. The North being a smart entity have always taken advantage of the eternal rift between the West and the East. Even if the North works with SE , it doesn't mean the East will be the one in charge, the North has always called the shots regardless of which region they work with. It will be interesting though to see IPOB members campaign for Buhari in 2019. 2 Likes |

I supported APC cuz of CAN structure via fashola's dispensation, which I expect them to replicate at d centre but things r not working as I thought ,but we had to try then. I don't lioke PDP in the West cuz they failed . All d past PDP Govs that ever govern in West fumbled. I love Akpabio bcuz he really tried for his pple .I would ve voted for him ,if he was my gov. The way some of us talk about the north here is worrying. Always glorifying the north as though they are the most important region in nigeria. We should stop it abeg. Someone even said the north has most population in nigeria. Please. This is wrong. It is part of the lies in the Nigerian fabric. In 2011, the southern region stood for Jonathan and Jonathan defeated buhari. 6 Likes |

fulanimafia: I never disputed that you weren't a dozen steps ahead! My mission here is to create awareness among the non political class in the south on where their true interests lie as they would be the ones deciding whom and who in the political class get to represent them! Talking about brain failure, have you looked in the mirror lately? Your attempt to pretend that Nigeria started its existence in 1999 is hilarious at best and self deceiving also, your pretence that Nigeria was eldorado and incorrupt pre-1999 is same, so tell me, who were Nigeria's rulers before 1999 and where did they come from? What was the state of our economy @ 1999 and what was it @ 2015! Your failed narrative cum jingle of 16 years of failed and corrupt PDP leadership only works with the gullible uneducated shee-ple massed up north who are your robots and serfs and whom you subjugate with weaponised ignorance cum religious sentimentalism to do your bidding! I don't belong to that clique hence i can tell you that the supposed "16 years of failed and corrupt PDP leadership" doesn't look so failed and corrupt when compared to "18 months of successful and incorrupt CPC leadership" and i know because i unlike you, lives and works in Nigeria not the U.K! I and most other Nigerians, (hausa/fulani excluded for obvious reasons) will rather have the 16years back! Thank you! 5 Likes |

luvinhubby:let's be honest here. The SS and SE didn't treat the SW as brothers when they were in power, despite how the SW fought to make the VP be given his rightful position as Acting President and eventually president. SW instead got insults and threats of domination, and no development after all they did. Do you expect the SW to blindly throw such support again? No side is blameless here bro. The sooner we accept this fact, the easier it will be to move on and forge ahead towards a common goal; which is development of one's region. If both regions can decide to stop the scheming and learn to respect each other's beliefs and ideologies, there is nothing we can't do. This is obvious in the successful cohabitation between Yorubas and Igbos in Lagos. Nothing should stop this from extending generally. 3 Likes |

BraniacX: Your moniker and post have no nexus or correlation whatsoever. You want to compare national development under a democracy with the regression expected under a military dictatorship? Did it even occur to you that you're trying to justify the gargantuan failures of democratic leadership by southern civilians including an acclaimed PHD holder over 16 years ruling with the power of the constitution and compare it with the leadership given by uniformed jack booted soldiers running a junta, ruling by decrees and only trained to kill and destroy? Read the first paragraph again. The people of Otueke and Ogoni who never had any clean up initiated or pipe borne water respectively over the last 16 years, will rather have these last 18 months of cleaning up the mess left by southern leadership led by their own kinsmen. |

Dereformer: Check my previous posts! I am not yoruba and i am among those who said this will happen! Now that it has happened, it is good! Because our current young generation especially from the southwest will awaken politically and realise what their older generation were telling them before 2015! So now, the question is what happens after this, the arewa will want to co-opt the rest of the south politically with the pretence that the south west is the enemy and we should not let that happen! Because yesterday the south-south and south east were the enemy (maybe they still are) tomorrow it will be the south west, next tomorrow, who knows but one thing will remain constant, it will be the core north who decides who the enemy will be................... Unless we choose to wake up!! 3 Likes |
