3 vital points bagged today. If we continue with this form in the end we won't have to solve further maths to pick the lone ticket from this group.

The unsung hero for me today is Karl Ikeme. Without his heroics we would not have come out with all 3points today. Omeruo let d team down with his shambolic defense but we r thankful it didn't cost us more than that 1 goal.

Now we turn our focus on Algeria Vs Cameroon and hope they both play a lazy goalless draw.

I'm very sure if they attack like first half they will score more goals, but nevertheless three point ni koko

Who knows why they did not see it out by punishing Zambia with goals. What Nigeria should do is put fear into the other teams but saying we are ready for you. They remind me of Arsenal - frustrating to watch at times and even the best players start playing badly because we lose shape to easily. The 2nd goal is what Nigeria is about. We have forwards but we need midfielders who hussle and apply pressure. We need defenders who can defend one on one (Ndidi was getting shinned almost far to many times and by the same skill so why didnt he learn after the 5th time). It was a goodish result but im happy about the first half

not just speaking as a spectator! I been playing football for years! That dude with jersey no 4 lacks confidence and technicality! Ball control is bad. Same goes to guy with 3!! His one footed and shows the opponent what he's about to always! That's why, wen he clears the opponent perceives his body language and move into position. He's just luckily he did can a rebound towards the goal! 11, is good but need to do better! On numerous occasions the right flank was used and number 14 was abused.... he need to watch the way he comes out especially against wingers! For years now this team need to show character no be all this one way Una dey claim encourage every time'' we need to analyze the team properly for the best!

We badly missed Leon's partnership with Ekong in today's game. Kenneth Omeruo has badly lost form.

At a stage, it seems like Troost Ekong was the only player we had in the defence.
