Esiti should have come on earlier. Stabilized the defense.

We need to start shopping for solid right backs. Ndidi was quite vulnerable today.

Omeruo has become quite error-prone.. can't wait for leon to come back

Omeruo error again

2:1

The errors I see Omeruo make astounds me. For a player of his experience, his school boy errors are unacceptable.

I understand why Rohr used Ndidi instead of Musa. As an away match, he needed a defensive right back. Though he looks rusty in that position, it's been a good shift.

Chai...it was not a good shift o, it was a disaster. We need to find a good defensive right back fast.

Go back to the replay. It was a spinning cross and the ball bounced abt 7-8ft in front of Omeruo and changed direction towards his left of which he just managed to give it a side header. Such balls are difficult to nod directly.

Nevertheless, an error is an error. That was the only wrong touch he made in the whole of the game and that led to d goal.

Was watching AIT some months ago and found some shocking revelations.

Do you know that a person cannot become NFF President if he isn't the head of a State FA? So, you have to hustle state Chairman before you can even dream of NFF President.

Do you know how State Chairmanship is gotten?

Sitting Governors get to appoint someone as State Chairman, more often than not, this someone is usually one of the thugs who helped the Governor secure his mandate via voter intimidation and such antics. So basically, what we have as NFF Presidents are thugs. Ex-footballers and sports writers cannot be NFF President.

Do you now see why our football is so utterly f-ucked?

If someone doesn't change such a useless constitution, we can't move forward. You see the problem with Nigeria as a whole?

And going by how CAF is run, I'm guessing such madness takes place in most African countries, or pray tell, can anyone tell me Issa Hayayou's achievements as a footballer?

Smh @ such a stupid constitution.

No wonder all these caucus of Giwa-led this, Ubah- led that, Pinnick- won this, keeps surfacing. to the extent that giwa fc didn't kick a ball or whatever happened to them. Such a smellos of a method.

This bitter rivalry for the top job at the glass house wouldn't happen if it was contested between someone like Christian Chukwu, Equavoen, cos no bad blood would happen between stars that played side by side en experienced ups and downs in their time they'll Wana fight for a chance to correct.

Sometimes I wonder if our ex footballers are just lazy but it's a dirty game.

Hayatou sef.. a story for another day.

Africa o, nawa o.

I'll be a grandfather by the time an African ref makes a world Cup linesman list.

I will also speak on Echiejile's performance... Dude was roasted a couple of times in the second half by that Zambian big no.10.

Ekong was definitely the top performer in the Eagles defence.

Omeruo was perfect until his mistake. Aside that mistake... Omeruo actually had a very impressive game indeed.

Apart from the error from Omeruo, I was impressed with his overall play. He was mobile, when there were gaps on the wings, he covered them. He moved into midfield a lot to help increase the number in midfield.

Omeruo's mobile style of play made it easy for Ekong to sit back and help stop the final threats. His clearance of the low cross from the left.

Exactly, an error is an error. You know this is not his first time. A central defender cannot afford that kind of error. Just one error and Zambia scored. Look at the many mistakes Ndidi made at Right back and not a goal was scored as a result. That's the difference between a GK & CB and the rest of the team.

Imagine if we didn't score any goal at first half.

Echiejiele was ok.. made one obvious error when he lost his man but ndidi was shaky all game.

Perhaps a home game would have been better to introduce Ndidi.

What an amazing aerial performance from Ekong. My fear for long balls from the Zambians reduced with the way Ekong cleared off everything. His aerial presence is a big asset to the team. He made some nice interceptions and blocks.

Overall, he was tidy.

We don't need to shop again. Rohr experimented with Ndidi and he's gotten a good verdict. Musa Mohammed owns that spot and I think he just wanted to see if someone else can contest in case of emergency.

I keep wondering why the flash in tha pan Shehu keeps making the team. The guys proves his worth during training, but in a live match......

Did you see the way the Nigerian guys on the technical team besides Rohr celebrated? Rohr didn't even celebrate both goals. I guess their peeps were part of the 50 shades of stupidity on Flight 72 to Ndola.

We need to start working on having stronger 2nd half.

The last Recognized Natural RB we had in the Super Eagles was Chidi Odiah.

Ambrose tried. He did creditably well but he was converted RB.

Ndidi started out as a CB in his early career. This could be y Rohr started him instead of Shehu Abdulahi(who i feel would have coped better) @ RB.

I once suggested Leon Balogun at RB but that suggestion didnt go down well with analysts here.

The truth is we dont have a RB in this team.
For the next game I would still suggest Balogun as the RB while Ekong and Omeruo play CB.
We have Mahrez and Slimani for our LB and RB to deal with in that game.

Ekong is obviously the second best CB, we have.. The man has improved in leaps and bounds.

Omeruo is very good but you are always afraid of one error.

Musa Mohammed never faced this kind of opposition.

And u are leading Zambia 2-0 in Ndola and u dnt expect them to come all over you like a swam of bees?

I personally expected that kind of pressure on our defense in the second half. But for Omeruo's error, the boys coped well.

Echiejile had a bad game but we must excuse his performance because the pitch took away his strength of making driving runs with the ball.

He made poor throws, was off position a lot. His concentration is his biggest challenge. The coach needs to tell him to watch his back. He left much room for the Zambians to operate.

I would not go hard if he kept his position and the players beat him.

Echiejile's good point was his assistance to the midfield when we were in possession and he stopped some dangerous attacks.

Needs polishing from the coach.
