I'm I the only one that feels that Echiejile may not have a good game against Algeria? Communication weakness.

Polithiefcians run our sport administration. I'm talking of peeps who never kicked a ball ever buy somehow with the help of Governors, find their way up the ladder to the glass house

Under Westerhof, the Presidency tackled the wastage of funds by dealing with the Coach directly.

FIFA can not term that interference. It is our money. The coach prepares his list for preparation, including hotel accommodation and camping fees. The coach gets an extra staff for it and supervise it.

The coaches can handle it and it will reduce the wastage and agreement.

How can we tell our players to pay tickets, owe players bonuses and NFF keep partying with the limited funds?

Did anyone notice Brown Ideye never had a single shot on goal today?

Even the one he was set up to score, that was rules offside, he missed and started blaming the ref for ruling offside.

Thank God Ighalo has successfuly buried his Dad yesterday.

Ideye to me has not been the type of guy to get goals, that's why I'm surprised when I see him topping the goal chart in Greece. What I know him to be is a guy who makes his goal partner shine. Look what he did to Emenike. Once he stopped been invited, Emenike started to fade away in our team. Kelechi goal was his doing. He distracted his defender and laid the ball to Iheanacho perfectly.

It's odd, but I prefer him that way. Some people are not meant for the spotlight. They just work hard for the team.

NFF keeps on their Joker status. They just love to amuse en amaze us.

Wonder why no one puts their activities in check. 77milla for a dinner night and Victor Moses is still owed 15k pounds?

Seems the priority of these guys isn't football afterall.

You do not have to kick a ball to be a good administrator. It is about managing people and resources.

Onazi's presence became more noticeable in the second half especially... He stepped up big time... I was so proud.

He was everywhere in midfield indeed.

And yes he did have misplaced passes oooo... And was poor a few times in decision making when with the ball in the first half.

TheGoodJoe:
Onazi is showing growth and maturity. He was off position about two or three times. Apart from that, he was sound in his positioning. Ran a marathon in the midfield and did most of the dirty work to break down the Zambians.

Dropped to the defence to help the defence and won the possession with some interceptions.

Under the hot sun, the midfielder did not stop running.

He has a big role to play with Echiejile. Echiejile is an offensive left back and needs Onazi to let him know when he is off position. Like Omeruo, Onazi helped fill gaps.

I would not talk about his faulty passes. That pitch was unbelievably bad.

Mikel started poorly but we can forgive him because the pitch affected his play. When he settled, he was a Dynamite.

That tackle in the first half was breath taking. His combination with Iwobi and Iheanacho was like Papa Ejima playing with his Ejima boys. Multiple brilliant combinations which shows he is a threat.

His understanding with Onazi was another development I noticed. They switched positions under different circumstances.

When Onazi pressed high to disrupt the team work play of the Zambians, Mikel dropped deep. When we were building passes, Onazi gave room for him to shine.

He spent time talking with Iheanacho and Iwobi during the game. Showing leadership.

Onazi needs to learn to talk to the defending players. Missed that from Enyeama. Mikel should keep with the offensive organization and Onazi defensive.

Well said Sir Joseph.... Ideye had no single shot on target but his work-rate and pawn-like sacrifice is invaluable to the team against certain oppositions.

Ideye was like our battering ram to the Zambian defence which allowed The likes of Nacho to exploit spaces as the "space investigator" that Nacho is known to be... smiley

So much for the talk about "players playing week in week in the Greek league".

I knew all those talks about him being in form is jst babash. Most of us here have been following this crop of the Super Eagles(particularly the older players), we should know by now what each player can bring to the table.

Not a lot of props is being given to Ikeme and it's a disservice. Since he got into the team, he's saved us over and over again. This win was his doing. I have not seen him cost us a game since his debut. Shout out to the classy Carl.

We don't have Enyeama, but we have Ikeme.

we thank GOD for the victory,
3pts,that's all that matters to me.
we need LEO BALOGON to b back ASAP to partner EKONG.
As 4 the left back position.the best option left is to convert a very good defender to take over from ELDERSON,
because i'm not always comfortable with him anytime he with the ball. We don't have any good left back coming up,n thats the problem.
NDIDI didn't do badly as people were saying, but i think SHEHU would have done better.

I was dissapointed with MOSES SIMON,He had a very bad game. i think ESITI should start the next game.

IKEME would have been my man of the match if not because of the goal he conceeded,he really kept us on the match.
my top performers goes like this-

1-IWOBI,
2-IKEME,
3-EKONG,
4-IHEANACHO

You see, the reason we go away and play Tanzania 0-0 and Oliseh comes to tell us it's because there are no small teams in Africa is because we are used to mediocrity. This team is proof that we can go away and beat any team.

To look at this team and realize we are not even playing my best eleven is to realize my point. No Victor Moses, No Success, No Balogun, a makeshift RB, Simon coming from injury and not fully fit, 7 out of first eleven under 25 years old, and we still defeated a top African team away.

This is the dream!

Moses Simon has not done himself good with this game. He has given Victor Moses a starting shirt if he is fit.

Ahmed Musa has finally been relegated to a sub.

Tactical a big difference. Kelechi, Mikel ,Iwobi and Onazi playing at the same time gives a strong formidable midfield .Not only foreign NFF president but also a Foreign President to rule the country .Lol na joke o make SSS no come raid my corner .

The super could play better than that if that match was played on a good turf, they lost 75% possession due to the bad and contour turf field, there was a ball Ndidi could easily stop and pass but he lost it due to the contour to Kalaba. The zambia team trained and use to play on the pitch, so they were good on it, the ZFA willingly took the match to the bad pitch in order to dis-organize our game, they will pay for it in the return leg on a better pitch in Nigeria, It will be 4-1 smiley

Sometimes Iwobi losses the ball due to the africa football factor and he managed to play very well, on that bad pitch. OMO smiley those passes interchanges could going smoothly on a better place.

My best player is Ikeme, he saved us today.
