Everyone loves Jenifa!

The movie first aired in 2008 and had everyone rolling on the floor with laughter. Funny enough, most of us adopted some of her slangs which we still use till date.

It’s so bad some of us have actually forgotten the correct English phrases. Besides who oyinbo English don epp? I think it’s about time Nigerians adopt their own English Language and make it official. It makes communication fun.

Here are 7 slangs Nigerians have adopted from the Jenifa Diary series:

1. “Yels” – Meaning Yes

jenifa diary must be the most over hyped comedy series ever in Nigeria.The comedy is unwitty and overhyped except a few falz scene..

this series almost put an end between the friendship BTW me and a girl after she used almost 3g of my phone memory to collect this trash ...

It's hard enough to find love. I don't want ideas and dreams that do not exist.

I want to have peace of mind in the simple love I sincererity I get from a hrt that truly beats for me. Not constant heartache of what he 'ought' to do if I behave in a particular manner. I mean expecting him to kiss me after I yelled at him... Unrealistic expectations

It's no fun for me. I watched one out of boredom and I almost sank into depression. Jeez! They can cry like no tomorrow. No suspense, extremely dull, story line is often the same and painfully unrealistic no humour. Even when they try to infuse action, it's still the dull, slow and programmed kind of action.

Just tears and love

Give me movies like person of interest, crack, elementary, the mentalist, house of cards, fast and furious, annimation, I love me some black american movies, I can go on and on
