Whats your point? Is it only Niger Delta governors that are corrupt Do you even know that some northern parasite states like kano, bornu, katsina etc gets more allocation than some oil producing states Face your solid minerals and agriculture and leave their oil for them!!!

WHY drink panadol for another man's headache? Give the states what is due to them and leave their subjects to complain about how it's managed.

South East is the main supporter of resource control right from Aburi convention in Ghana in the late 60's till the last national convention organized by GEJ. We dont depend on government rather we are self motivated from individuals, to communities & beyond. Despite the fact that we have solid minerals in commercial quantities like coal, limestone, lignite, zinc etc and crude oil yet we dont depend on them to develop. In terms of MDG's, literacy level, technology, entreprenuership etc we are among the most advanced in Africa!! It parasites like the north and their slaves in the south that are against resource control. IGBOS SUPPORT THEIR KITS AND KIN IN THE NIGER DELTA!!!!

Yup copy Fiscal federalism/ resource control. Not because it's American model. Do it because it makes Economic and moral sense. The states that produce should reap benefits and fund federal purse accordingly. Money isn't owed to other parasite states because they have large unproductive populations as kano govenor believes. The northern laggard region needs to embraces this conscept like SW, SW and SE propose.

The change would benefit all parties because it will force states to become more responsible knowing they on their own aside from grants subsidies and federal programs. State government focused on attracting investment. They will have to get serious about education, infastrure, bugets and rule of law.

Northern region could focus on other solid minerals, agricultural and potentially manufacturing. Consider strengthening trade agreements with Niger. They need help with food secruity as it is. Instead of sucking teat of southern productivity. State like Kano are against principal so productive regions will have to stand against them.

We also have to focus on issue of property and mineral rights. They shouldn'tbe in exclusive domain of federal government. This will allow private citezens to collect royalty check directly.
