Brother, a beg the issues I'm having now is that my laptop doesn't shutdown or restart unless you shutdown manually. Whenever I click restart or shutdown, the system will show logging off and remains like that.

Apart from this observation, do you notice if the system is slow when using it? Does it take long to boot to windows?

if you are experiencing any of the above, you may first consider installing a new OS. If that doesnt work, you need to test a working hard drive on the system.

The OS is window 7 and I just installed it. It doesn't take time to boot nor slow. Thanks

When u say it doesnt show anything ...do you mean the screen is white? or dark?

if you are not skilled in opening a laptop, you shouldn't try it. I just hope you havnt damaged any component.

15.6 inch module-less screen cost 15000 naira for brand new at the moment. The engineer that will fix it will charge maximum 4k.

Hello engineers in the house, I just noticed now that my laptop appears charging but the battery' percentage kept dropping.

I removed the battery and totally short down it charged up but again I'm experiencing the same problem of percentage of battery dropping.

Pls guys what could be the problem Is it my charger or the laptop is with the issue

This may be a battery, charger or board problem but further diagnosis is required. For you to have experienced this same issue on your system more than twice, then its most likely you are not getting original batteries. It may also be a board problem and if this is true, then all the batteries you have been buying are OK. I can't conclude on where the problem is until I see the system and the battery.

By the way, how is the battery behaving that makes you feel it is bad?

the battery usage is normally 2hrs plus depending on the usage,but after some time or maybe month i will just discover that the usage time reduces and at times it might be at 50% and the next thing i will see is the battery dropping to 7% and eventually die

Then you are not getting original batteries. Next time try getting batteries that comes with brand new system. It will be more expensive than getting regular new batteries.

When next you are sure of not using your laptop for more than one week, you should remove the battery.
Try doing a system discharge, remove charger and battery from your laptop. Press and hold down the power button for 20-30 seconds. Now plug the charger ( connected to power source ) to your system. Now press the power switch.if it comes on, then run it to windows and then put battery in place.
if it doesn't come on, then your system needs to be checked by an engineer. If you are in Lagos, you can contact 08164685979
