she does not need to be pampered in my view. She wants people to work and support her lazy self entitled lifestyle.

IMO

1 - she needs to terminate that pregnancy, she is still under 4 months - reasons are she is unemployable in her state. Even if one decides to be merciful and consider her pregnancy sx, she still wont turn up to work because she feels entitled to a "nanny".

2 - What quality of life is the unborn child going to have? The father of the unborn child has had 4 ex wives with several children; the mother is a babymama turned prostitute turned ex fiancee who has no interest in working. She has the mentality of a "full time housewife". Before someone will come and tell me that Obama's mother did not abort him, please remember idi amin/anini and co were also not aborted.
If she gives birth to a son, its likely that child will become a menace to the society and if its a girl, God helps the girlchild that she isnt raped by her mother's numerous boyfriends.

3. She clearly has skills but doesnt want to work. Its evident she doesnt need money....what she needs is a close mentorship and monitoring. For her own biological mother to be tired of her - right there is the clue that we need. All these talk on suicide is her silly games shes playing to pass the responsibility to faceless users on nairaland like we owe her a duty of care.

I've been to her house.I saw a young lady in distress.She's pregnant and ill(just first trimester blues).
She obviously has marital(unmarital actually) issues with the man she's pregnant for now-he's physically abusive too cos she showed me a mark on her body.
She also has issues with her mum.Her mum has been the one taking care of her but seems she's fed up with her and they are not getting along now.
I can confirm she was in SA(couldn't see her passport with the visa because she said she misplaced it) but I saw other documents.She was repatriated.she has a son that was born in SA.

Like some of you here feel,I saw a lady who obviously has a disjointed life.Poor choices and and an inability to put things right in her life.She will need long term counselling like some of you suggested.
However,I can confirm she needs money now.She presently attends an unorthodox
Maternity clinic.
I couldn't get her out of the house because I met some people there who said she just going go with a stranger.Her mum called too while there and said they shouldn't let her out with anyone.I plan to meet with the mum tomorrow.

You're right, and at the bolded, it just about confirms everything. I've been thinking about this since yesterday and my theory was able to sum up the fact that she loves life and she's very reckless at the same time. She's unconsciously proud of working but would rather choose to beg.

All she needs is a long term counsellor, someone to talk several senses into her head and the need to sit up as her chances are gradually thinning out.

She has equally not shown any commitment towards living a good life. I wouldn't blame the mum though.

For the pregnancy, well, I'm too morally strict to advise she aborts it, and would rather not say a thing about it. However, I'd suggest the contraceptive thing for her. Perhaps she was thinking she could 'trap' the men with pregnancies.

The bolded is very annoying. No one owes her a thing her. Everyone is trying to help her and she should get that into her head. A blackmail as this does not really work with someone like me.

I believe Mynd's assertion on the work theory is true afterall. She is pretty much too lazy to work.

Healthwise,she'll need to go to a clinic.She also needs to get roperly registered for ante-natal.

On the longer term,she needs a source of income.She needs to learn a skill that can bring in income for her or start a trade.

Did she tell you what kind of business she would like to venture into? Just like you rightly pointed out, she has no skill set, no prior background knowledge and I'm quite sure she hasn't ventured into one before. A possible scenario of mismanagement could surface.

Business won't solve her psychological problem. As a matter of fact, the latter would impact her terrible if one overlooks it to help her with her 'dream business'. It's actually unbelievable that an educated lady would find herself in this mess.

Mindfulness she has a phone AND a tablet! She has one necessary device and another for pleasure and she is saying she is hungry! She is refusing to do whatever is necessary to care for herself, her son and her unborn child. I told her to sell the tablet to raise money to at least be able to go for antenatal and she said it was the man who got her pregnant and abandoned her that bought it as a gift so she can't. You are a reasonable person so her behaviour doesn't make sense to you but reason is what she lacks. I am not an expert, I don't know how such people can be helped. I just know that in other countries, there are institutions that help people learn to live a decent life, organize their day for example, skills they haven't acquired when growing up. I think this is a result of her past. Perhaps her neighbours know she is in the habit of having people coming to pick her from the house before it got to this point. This goes on to prove that it's a pretty messy situation for neighbours to call her mother that she was going out with a 'stranger'.
