Report reaching Brainnews NG has it that unknown gunmen has hijack the bank premises of the Ecobank, situated in Mary Slessor, near Calabar Mall, Cross River State.

The sad incident happened on the afternoon of Wednesday, 12 Oct at 3pm.

Brainnewsng.com gathers that the incident is ongoing as at the time of this report as police, navy, army has taken over the environs of the said incident.

The gunmen has taken hostages of the entire Staff including customers of the bank.

Numbers of the gunmen are still unknown, as Brainnews NG suspects G1 involvement in the attack.

Update:

A facebook user by name Bassey Robinson victor kingsley has gathered that the security operatives at the venue of the said event has arrested 3 person but G1 disappeared.

So G1 is still alife?
