No. The moral of the story is don't bother to come to Nigeria to pick a wife. Pick a wife there in America.

Many Nigerian wives realize their "potential" once brought to the US. Some of them do worse thing to their husband even more than what an American woman would do. Just to prove a point to their husband that they are no more in Nigerian system where husband has upper hands. So they over do it and drive their husband crazy.

It's more hurtful to be hurt by someone deliberately hurting you to get at you than someone doing it not because she wants to get back at you for anything but just doing it because it's what entails in the system.

Hmmm...only these few cases? I expected a lot more.... at the rate guys would be returning home and picking random pretty sexy ladies to marry ... love at first sight. That's a big gamble.

No wahala nah, if that's what women want then they should go ahead and finance themselves in their education and all else that needs financing and when they are really ready to settle down, they should do the proposing and foot the marriage bills and all, that way the man in their life would know she is the one footing the bills and comfortably relegate himself to the secondary position, instead of a woman trying to form head of the family after the man has finished training her in school, bringing her to the usa for greener pastures and then she turns around to start acting all bit..chy.

This is a recurring pattern amongst Nigerians in the US.For me, if you're in a foreign land, never attempt to bring or import any woman to that country, I had an uncle who had spent almost 40 years in Germany.The moment he made the mistake of bringing some woman from Benin Republic, he wrote his own obituary.He died under very mysterious circumstances no sooner
Having said that, these deaths are just too gory to imagine.We seem to have lost our cultural moorings in foreign lands.
