4g Lte Smartphone, Which Is The Best? by nyxcel(m): 10:20am On Oct 13, 2016 |
It Is no news that 4G LTE is the latest Technology trending on smartphones now in Nigeria. According to information at hand, all networks providing 4G LTE now in Nigeria (MTN, Glo, Etisalat) operate on different bandwidth which means it is possible for someone to but a 4G enabled phone and not able to use it with his/her preferred network. Question: if you are to recommend a 4G LTE enabled phone for someone, which one will you recommend and why? |

Very few phones will support all the 4G bands used by all the carriers in Nigeria. for example MTN uses band 7 and 20. GLO uses band 28. I believe Etisalat uses band 3. Most of the later model Iphones and some of the higher end Samsung and Motorola phones support all these bands. Same thing with the ASUS zenphone 2 and 3. Actually, the bands used by MTN and etisalat are very common bands used in Europe/Asia. So, most of the LTE devices out there will support these bands. The band 28 used by GLO is not common at all! 1 Like |

Bossman: All Huawei devices starting from P8 will support all the 4G networks in Nigeria. The iPhone 6 and 7 will support all too. Samsung devices from s6(not all versions) will support them too. 1 Like |
