HenryQuest: because u or any of your loved one has not been kidnapped, then you will understand the efficacy of negotiations. Meanwhile, congratulations to the parents of those released. |

Tyche:Always on the panic mood when there is even an inch threat yet. It is very difficult to continue to talk lies and go free all the times. This, am sure, is another lie by the lyeing Mohammed but this time by another apc member so that it will appear different. We are waiting to see them and interview them because there is nothing impossible with this Buhari government. |

FunkyMetahuman:You call them ragtags but they have the capability of keeping this guerilla warfare going for decades you know... It's equally as difficult to completely annihilate them cos it's a movement for an ideology... There are so many of them ready and willing to replace Shekau at any point in time... |

brainpulse:A man working, nope, the girls were not rescued but was actually swapped with some definite named hardened boko haram prisoners who were most caught by Gej. Thank God a handful of the girls are now released but the most dangerous of boko boys are back to sambisa to strategise the more. The worst aspects of this exchange is that the boko buhari boys may always take the advantage in striking in any vulnerable schools to abduct students/women. Pros and cons you say, yes. Boko harams actually had their way since the govt of buhari yielded to their demand to release their notorious men in prison. Buhari yielded to their demand to exchange since he could not rescue those girls. |

Re: Presidency's Statement On The Release Of 21 Chibok Girls by tete7000(m): 2:54pm On Oct 13, 2016 |
TheRealestGuy: Its quite sad that the same people that opposed negotiation during the last administration now negotiated and swapped prisoners for the girls, it is good politics for apc; they got what they wanted: POWER. Now anything they once opposed from deregulation, regional collaboration against boko haram to negotiation with terrorist and prisoners' swap for girls are now justified. God will pay everyone back in his own coin. However, looking beyond politics, it is equally good news and a consolation for the traumatised parents who waited this long to welcome their battered children back. Let keep praying others too for the good and consolation of their parents will one day too be released. I can't imagine what those parents go through everyday seeing the way politics of power is played with the lives of their poor kids. As per whether their could be more daring raids in future by the boko haram, lets keep praying that those behind this tale have had their gain and won't venture into such again. 1 Like |

Pavore9: The news is incomplete because the boko haram we know would not release 21 girls without gaining what is worth that and more in return. I have seen so many LIES from this APC led government that its almost impossible to believe them one bit. Sorry bro, but I APC is guilty of lies unless found innocent period |

Good... So whose faction released the girls, if this is a result of negotiations, can the same negotiations be employed to make them sheath their swords and let the whole NIGERIA Be free from suicidal bombings and killings.... Thanks |
