The brick house looks impressive. What is the process of molding the bricks and how cheaper is it compared to cement bricks? |

Hello house, I'm new in this thread aspiring to start pig farming I have an already existing poultry pen can I use it for housing pigs.? Thanks |
Re: Pig Farmers Lets Meet Here by muyiroro: 5:03pm On Oct 11, 2016 |
Those guys are from Bebe Reb, they fabricated the moulding machine by themselves. The sand they used is Sand filling but not the common one, they now mix it with cement. One bag of cement will make 50pcs of bricks. 1 Like |

How much is live weight of pig per kg in Nigeria now...my dad wants to dispose his pigs and he called tonyt expecting me to know because i studied animal production and health in school...... Pig farmers help me out please |
Re: Pig Farmers Lets Meet Here by muyiroro: 7:51am On Oct 12, 2016 |
@dyydxx 30Tons of that is sand filling is 18k, if is very full it will make 22Bags @ 2250 = 49,500 of cement for 50Bricks per bag x 22 = 1,100 18000+ 49,500 = 67,500 (cost of sand & cement) 67,500÷1100 = 61.3 Cost per brick is 61.3 naira |

muyiroro: Oga this your analysis is not very correct. You did not add the cost of labour per bag. You did not add cost of water if you are to buy. when i was constructing my pen last year, cost per labour per bag was 650 I dont know how much they charge at your end |
Re: Pig Farmers Lets Meet Here by muyiroro: 6:31am On Oct 13, 2016 |
Pls am sorry about that omission, is 600 per bag of cement and they used 22 bags = 13,600. total cost of water is 4000 cos there is flowing stream at the back of the farm I just rented pumping machine to pump twice. Total sum= 67,500+13,600+4000=85,100 BUT THE TOTAL COST FROM FOUNDATION IS 1.1 M EXCLUDING THE COST OF LAND |

@muyiroro, I am really impressed with the construction of the Pen House using Red sand and Cement. Please can you give me the contact details of the people or company that did the moulding of the blocks. Also, are they the same people that did the setting of the blocks (Bricklaying) as well ? Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you Sunday Adanlawo |
