Thanks for the response, I will email Uni Manitobaon on the availability of funding for Nigerians as international students
Nievel:

From my research it is quite difficult to get any form of scholarship for coarse based masters. Most of the schools only give some funding for research based masters and to qualify your cgpa must be very high and your supervisor will be the type that usually gets lots of government grants to fund his or her research.
You can also email the school to ask them if they have any funding or scholarship for international students in your department.
All the best and please share any useful information you come across.

Hi everyone
I'm new here and will like to find out somethings. I applied for my study visa and was called for medicals. My family applied for their accompanying visas around the time I applied for mine. The issue is last week, they were given their visas( till the expiry dates on their passports) but I'm yet to get mine. I should point out that in the letter of explanation, it was stated that they were accompanying me to help me settle down. I'm really worried as I I have not gotten mine. Is there a chance that my application would have been looked at before they were given? Thereby guaranteeing that I will get. I've had to defer my admission to January because I could not meet up with the fall term.
What do I do?

meaning student visa Is not yet available, just have faith. You visa will be ready soon

Ameen... It's U of Sask...Thanks bro... But I'm still new in the application system so I need to gather more info for my visa application... What's the best method to use for visa application I learnt there's online application and the rest... What's TRV? Please enlighten me more about all the necessary info I might need in the course of my visa application... Thanks

You can apply online or use paper route. With online application, all you have to do is upload all ur documents via cic portal and pay with your card wc is expensive compare to paper application. Paper application is cheaper, all u have to do is gather your documents and submit at vfs office in Lekki and pay cash there
Trv is temporary resident visa wc allow u to enter Canada. At d point of entry you will be issued ur study permit.

You need to read d thread and make google your friend for better information. All d best

You got no problem since the school have accepted to admit you.

What you need is write a good sop stating why you choose your school and reasons why u going for MBA.

Make sure you submit home ties documents like study leave letters etc.

With that and good statement of account and don't forget your attestation letters it works greatly.

Wish you the best Sir.

To the bolded, please i will like us to ask questions with a mature mind and mature mentality. I dont understand why some people will come and be asking the bolded question here. How on earth will someone go and submit a fake bank account statement? even with a genuine bank account statement the Canada embassy still confirm the Authenticity of the statement and some still get denied even after presenting a genuine bank statement let alone presenting a fake one. I want us all to know that there's maximum possibility that a Canada V.O may be silently monitoring this thread and our posts as it is in other threads. To stop raising the curiosity of the V.O and to stop giving ourselves a bad reputation to the international world, lets desist from asking such questions.
Please to the moniker Mikymiko, please I don't mean to attack you, and I hope you will see it as my humble opinion. Thanks very much.
Mikymiko:
Go and pick your application documents and

Can I ask you few questions?

What type of bank account statement did you submit, genuine or fake?

What is your health status like?

Who is your sponsor?

Did you pay your school fees?

Any study gap?

Believe in God as there is nothing God can't do.

There is no problem. Based on this foundation, I may not speak the minds of applicants as each applicant know well about his/her dealings. I understand your points. Everyone should apply caution. That's just my candid advice.

Thanks, but I'm advising someone, I'm not the person involved cool
I think you will be in a better position to advise Basalt seems you stay in Manitoba, and probably went/going to UofM or Saskatchewan University
The type of Masters degree will strongly determine his acceptance, that's why I'm asking him (course based or Thesis)?
Hi sir, I just graduated from Futminna with a cgpa of 3.38 out of 5.0 in telecommunication engineering. I would like to do a masters degree program in Canada, preferably Manitoba. kindly advise me as I would like to resume in the fall semester of next year. thanks, I await your reply.

It still working, u just have to put forward a very convincing application, a friend of mine got approved last week wt pgd admsn.

Remember a lambton rep telling me once if you're over 30 and 5 years educational gap that the visa has very slim chance.

Hello I am following your topics and see you have some insight to canadian visa. I am applying for a canadian study permit. My course of study is a masters for one year. Now my question is, as a Nigerian do I need to do biometrics when applying for a study permit? Because I currently live in a country(Not USA) where citizens here do not need to do the biometrics neither do they have the VAC centres here. And I am not a permanent resident

I am being told by the agent that Nigerians don't need to do the biometrics for study permits. How true is this?

But in the cac website Nigeria is one of the countries that require doing biometrics except some exemptions. Are intending students part of this exemption.
