Thanks dear... We saw his pediatrician last Friday and she said it was a fungal infection and she prescribed mycoten (1% clotrimazole). Used it for 2 days and the stuff cleared up but returned when MIL applied baby oil to his hair again.
Im thinking of using pure coconut oil instead for his hair and hoping he wouldn't react to that.

We did not use anything for Ayomide's umbilical cord. We were just told to ensure the cord is dry...and after the cord fell off, use alcohol swabs to clean the inside of the navel.

For circumcision, rub Vaseline on guaze pad and use it to cover the p**is. It helps protect the p***s from touching the diaper and from poo.

Try to reduce the oil so it will not touch his skin, seems he has a very sensitive skin, u ve to be careful of what touch his skin then. Try the coconut oil and see how it goes.

We started at 7 months as dd will always wait to be in betwewn nappy changes to do the do.

we do potty at least every morning, if no poo, we try at ther nappy changes.

Only had poo nappies when she had a bit of a runny tummy, and if for some reason she doesnt go in the morning and i miss when she is giving her poo cues.

For circumcision, best approach is the use of generous amount of vaseline on square gauze. Place the gauze on the p..nis before wearing the diaper. This prevents friction and it heals fast too.
