I stay at elekahia my dear. U know i almost used obio, even went there for enquiries. I was discouraged by the crowd, heard their crowd is nt here at all. I know a lady that had to wait outside during labour as there was no space for her to deliver but i heard they are very good and their facilities are top notch. I'm beginning to regret nt using them oh, cuz everyone i know seems to prefer them.

The space thing is true cos when I got to d hospital during labour, there was no spare bed so I had to sit on a chair for most of d labour alongside like 5 other women. They had to discharge some mothers that had given birth a day before to create beds for us.
The main attraction to d place is that if u register for ANC before 3 months under any HMO with 20k u wldnt pay for delivery .
After I gave birth I took my ANC receipt to accounts and was cleated for discharge. I was also given drugs free.

if d episiotomy is not sewn, or breaks down after suturing or d skin not well apposed b4 suturing. ......u ll have an aerated jajaina

When Dh and I bought our first property, he wanted to put his name on it...just cause he did not know we could both have our names on it.
So I started by telling him that if we had a child then the property should have been in the child's name ( afterall, all this hustle is for them)..... But since we didn't have kids yet, I'd want the property to have both our names.... So when 1 person isn't around, the other can still lay claim to the property. Then he offered to put it in my name only and I refused (even though I was tempted ) and gave him same reason. Then we found out we could have both our names on it and that's what we have been doing.
And its not Mr and Mrs surname o, its mr Mr first name surname and Mrs first name surname....., (cos there could be another Mrs surname).

I have that issue too. I stopped going for walks at 26weeks. I had to run to scan the next day to make sure everything was ok. I can't even go to a shopping mall without wanting to collapse just from walking around. I would advise that you look for another form of exercise. In my first pregnancy, I even swam till the last week. Was much stronger then.

I think it was depends on the type. This new one; little snugglers is pretty big. The newborn size can be used up to a 4.5kg baby. it seems to be an improvement on the others.

Thank God the spotting has stopped. Pls religiously take ur prenatals. As for the food, try to eat food with nutrients in bits. Make sure they are of good value o. Like beans, veggies and fruits with water. Just eat in tiny bits as u can. You'll be fine.

when buying diapers, don't start with cartons yet. buy the small packs that have like 20pcs inside. when sure of the size, you can buy carton. Also you can get diapers and other items at cheap prices from Sam's club. Their wipes are also good.

even banks when opening joint accounts no longer do Mr and Mrs XYZ... They write your full names as it is on the ID presented. DH ws so upset when he saw our acct name...very long ehn...lol but then again you won't blame them. I have cousins dat bear same names with my siblings; it's our father's names we use to differentiate. More reason also why i added my hubby's first name as part of my surname

feddy My sis shipped them from the US. So it should be the US. Remember I said I have 4.1kg and 5.5kg as newborns.

I'll advise you just skip to size 2. All my babies weighed above 4.1kg and the size 1 was used only for about 2 weeks. It became too snug so had to give them out. For my 2nd baby I didn't even bother with size 1 went straight to size 2. I birth really big babies too(genetics).

when papa is 6ft 3" and mama is 5ft 11" and grandpa's and grandma's too. I didn't really eat much during preggie days.. especially for the 2nd one. My room almost turned to a tourist site. People kept coming in to see and congratulate us lol.

@Beeblossom salbutamol is not a steroid. Its a bronchodilator which also has a tocolytic effect on d womb in order words stops d uterus frm contracting. ......since u were having preterm contr.
Its not unsafe for ur baby. Asthma mamas use it during deir pregnancy eith no side effects. Its also called ventolin.

Dont confuse it with prednisolone, steroid n has no use in preterm labour.
Dont confuse it with Dexamethasone, steroid which is given to achieve lung maturity incase d labour progresses to delivery. Ofcourse 1 or 2 injections of dis wont giv any side effects

U will c the inside of your skin... red and looks like it has open wound. It won't bleed, use mirror or call hubby to help u check he will know if it looks better. If the place heals, u can't b resutured again, d earlier d better.
