In Aninri we young youths have nothing in both at the state level and federal level. If you are not from his village nothing for you especially if you don't have any body to speak for you even at the local government level. Okpanku has zero place in the local government. No graduate from Okpanku has gotten employment at local government, state government and federal government if you are not a family member of the elites. We graduates do cry but no help, our graduates are languishing in poverty and penury thanks to farming even though you cannot use it to feed your family because of fragmentation.Nigeria pity us, our hands are chopped up in both front and back.

Truelly we don't have help. There are five villages that makes up Aninri LGA , all the four villages has been appointed two to three times but non-from Okpanku. Our river is not good for drinking, many people have died out of drinking from that river because there is no alternative sources of water. We have electric poles but they only gives us light once every year, only on 25 of every december, they pay for it but no light, regular light supply stops at Mpu our neighbouring town his village. We are been cheated on every where. Please my fellow nairalanders transmit to reach our president or even him the senator represnting us. Analysis shows that 3 people are from Okpanku in the local council out of 400 staff, 4 in the state council, 1 in the federal and those in the state and federal cater only for their families. We need help bikoo.

Aninri is seamlessly linked to three States of Abia, Enugu and Ebonyi, making evacuation of agro-produces easier than ever before.

If on the other hand, by "his people", you meant Igbos, let me educate you, just a little. By his action, as the leader of South-East caucus at the National Assembly, Ekweremmadu was able to convince all his colleagues in National Assembly to 'pool' all their constituency allowance and have it applied for Enugu Akanu Ibiam Airport runway extension and procurement of landing gears and other equipment that led to the airport being certified for international flights. In others words, Ekweremmadu worked to see that that ban or curse on having International Airport in Igboland was lifted. Igboland South East was the only geo-political Zone without International airport.
