My girl na shakara girl, she doesn't take anything aside formulae. My boy na shakara bobo, he takes pap and atimes na war. They still feed on formulae mostly. I have taken down notes and will hit the grocery tomorrow after work.

the immunisation site on the thigh may be swollen and hot! Please do not massage just place a wet cool wash cloth to it and give pcm if there's a fever. Expect baby to be cranky just try as much as you can to make her comfortable.

** free or cheap: penta, opv, pcv. Optional and expensive: rota
*** You should see a gynae for six week check. You'll only see paed if you request to.
**** You need a thermometer and paracetamol syrup. Administer 15mg of syrup to every 1kg of child's weight if baby runs temperature. E.g if baby weighs 5kg, administer 0.75ml. This is only applicable to our local paracetamol e.g panda, emzor that have 100mg/1ml written on them.
Some people give paracetamol 15 minutes before or immediately after the shot, then every four hours after.

i dont think there is a vaccine taken at 4months +. after the 14wks vaccine,next is in 6months.
28k for rotavirus,hmmmm. maybe it is not the one we took free at health centre.

Can't precisely recommend any, but whichever milk you give your child should be full and not filled cream. It's not a function of price, three crown is expensive but it's filled. Blue boat relatively cheap is full. Dano has both filled and full. Loya is full, peak is full. Cowbell is filled.

Filled means animal fat was taken out and replaced with vegetable fat. It's healthy for those watching their cholesterol.

I started brushing my baby's teeth with baby's toothbrush and paste @ 10months, though she has like 8teeths. before then, it was wash cloth and water I used.

my 5weeks daughter has large breast. The lady dat comes 2 bath her pressed it, but wen I heard it's not good,I told her to discontinue it, which she did. Now it's quite big and am worried. Some people said it will reduce with time.

My baby hasn't been eating well since on the 6th of this month. I found out he was teething, and the discomfort was too much. I sha gave him baby Rex and used teething powder. One tooth is out but still he isn't eating even sucking sef, na war.

I tried nutrend, pap, he refused. He takes cerelac any time he Wishes. He has succeeded in wasting 2 cans from last Thursday till today. He wants only formula which he doesn't take up to 100ml.

Can only formula sustain him?

He takes adult food before but not again.

Teething phase can be frustrating. I'm so scared.

Just leave it alone it will go down by it self it's caused by the extra hormone your baby took from you.

Just watch it to make sure the swollen breast is not red or painful to touch which is a sign that infection has gotten in through the times it was pressed.

I think you shld take her to hospital IMO, I went to the hospital today and also such case was brought,the swollen breasts was bringing out pus and the paed was really mad..I don't know why peeps engage in that but pls mamas be observant where your los are and put your feet down when you are not comfortable with any practice, children of these days are delicate so what worked in the olden days may have adverse effect on them.

Relax mama. What I use for my bubbas teething problem(though mild as Rota helped) is to get those teething rings and place in the fridge to cool then give them to chew on! The coldness eases the pain for them whilst they scratch their gum on the rough surface. It worked for us.

Secondly your baby will reject any spoon feed as the spoon seem to be causing them pain as it touches the already swollen and inflamed gum, So please make do with bottle feeding for now!

You can make the cereal semi fluidly and offer in a bottle. If that still doesn't work abeg up the frequency of the formula feed till he goes back to the regular routine.

You can ask you doctor to recommend a pain reliever for him.

pls i v a question. my baby is ten weeks already but his first one month i was supplementing my breast milk with NAN 1 cos i wasnt lactating well. after d first mnth i made up my mind dt we are no longer supplementing nd settled with breast milk alone and today we r 10 weeks plus and i still think im not lactating well cos my bby always wants to b put to breast every mins every sec and whenever i press my breast it doesnt gush out like others would another issue is dt my nipple is damn red and painful probably cos of the force he uses to suck and d frequency of d feeding. pls i need help. has anybody experienced this? and plshow can i boost mu breast milk. still doing exclusive despite d pain on my nipple

No NEPA here for the past 1 month. I use feeding bottle for him. for the cereal, I will try that out.
