Antonio Valencia is the only player who has genuine pace with balance in the team. When we packed the bus in the second half, we needed to threaten with counter attacks. If I were the coach and I assuming I had a player like Jones on the bench, I would have brought him to play right back while I push Valencia forward. That should have pushed Liverpool back to their half, else they concede. I don't rate Darmian, he makes me nervous.

If only Mourinho had a pacing player like Di Maria.

Yes, remember when Madrid packed it against Bayern Munich. Di Maria was involved in virtually all the counters, carrying the ball forward and tearing Bayern part through the middle at great speed. Ronaldo and Bale didn't have to do much but to run wide to wait for the ball while Benzema waited in the middle.

Under normal circumstances, one woulda hoped that he is still in the transitional phase of getting accustomed to what his new manager wants & would probably need some time to adjust properly to the rigours of the EPL.
