After series of 2 diff interview wt IHS, this is now they discovered that am not suitable for FSE. I did not apply for that and u ppl went tru my CV b4 u invite me for career fair. I Put in for Telecom Engr.

I received d regret mail yesterday.

I havnt gotten any success mail, I did my interview with Dem last week in PortHarcourt Gra. But notin yet, to tell u the truth I did nt knw de position I applied for but they told me it's FSE, but a friend of mine I met there at the interview day later told me, the person he has working der said dey took sum pple on that interview day. But I doubt Dat tho....well we pray and hope for the best.

Both successful and unsuccessful mail has been sent to Abuja applicants long ago but they have not invite anybody for second round of the interview.... Though I was among those that received successful mail.... fingers across waiting for them. Thanks!

Hope this is not late. If you are coming from CMS, get a bus to Adeola Odeku and drop at Idejo. You will have to walk into Idejo street and locate IHS.

You cannot predict ihs, the whole process is not well coordinated, whether something positive will come or not is what I can't say even some including me also did the Career fair in Lagos and did not receive any outcome.

it's almost a month now...I got the message two weeks after the career fair.

I am a first time chatter (chaka-chaka-chaka).
On a serious note, let's all try to move on, if you are called, then U can highlight the group.

Please note: this recruitment may be to:

1. Reinstate the sacked HTN staff (IHS acquired HTN and allegedly sacked all HTN staff).
So we were just part of the package to make the recruitment seem generic.

2. To allow current IHS and Workforce staff and stakeholders to get their people into the company to fill the spaces left by the allegedly sacked HTN staff.

3. To recruit some appropriate hands and a few or alot of connected ones.

4. To recruit people, but due to the seemingly and obviously disorganized nature of the company, they now realize that they don't need that much staff.

Obviously yem0350 (or similar) is a staff of IHS in HR or Public Relations stuff he/she just did what his/her job description states.

Then for those who were invited for a job interview concerning different roles and were later sent rejection mails, that was a gimmick to get you guys out of the picture; it was no mistake.

And since IHS have so far proven to be greatly disorganized, it shows signs of man-know-man in recruitment and probably poor staff welfare or job security. But based on the state of the nation, half bread is better than none.

Also, if this company sacked HTN staff without any notice after the takeover (note: I have not seen anywhere that IHS denied that) then they might not get back to any of us.

Lastly if you check on LinkedIn, alot of new guys have recently started (in almost all the opening advertised).

Let's try to keep ourselves posted on other job openings while we let IHS decide what they want to do.

Always verify your FACT before you post unnecessarily. Who told you that HTN staff were sacked? You seems not have the slightest idea about the recent acquisition of the company. You can go to their office @ Ikoyi and ask them.

You also don't know the reason behind these massive recruitment drive.

Why didn't you ask when you were interviewed, to find out reason behind these recruitment.

Next time you have opportunity for next phase of interview, ask them about the slow pace of this process, rather that sitting somewhere, formulate wrong hypotheses and put forward wrong theories

I will advice you walk upto the company and find out reason behind all these.

I don't think IHS is a place to join if u are already working with FG. I thought they would be considering the treatment and hype during the job fair. However, I have come to realize that it will amount to gambling someone's future if anyone leave FG job for IHS.
Best of luck guys. I have already withdrawn from IHS recruitment. If they like they should call me and if they like they should not. I feel fulfilled for the fact that they sent success mail to me.

All my statements on HTN staff had the word ALLEGED associated with it.
Maybe you don't know the meaning of the word alleged.
Let me enlighten you on the word ALLEGED: it's to declare but not prove.

In some of my options for the recruitment, like 3 and 4 it does not put the HTN condition.

You Yem0350 and your goons at IHS keep pple in the shadows, change job description for pple in the interview then send them failure mails. I also see that you guys invite pple for interview, they waste their money and risk their lives for you and your goons to change the date on the day of the interview, PROBABLY BECAUSE YOU AND YOUR GOONS THINK NIGERIANS ARE CHEAP.

Yem0350 being slow is just one point, but this issue of calling Nigerians for interviews for rolls different from the ones they applied and were initially interviewed.
And then failing them.
My guy that's a full load of Crap.
And it pisses me off.

Then someone will travel for an interview and when the person arrives, the individual is told that the interview has been postponed.
When I was younger, I almost died when traveling for a job recruitment, so I know / feel the risk involved.

Since you claim to know alot, tell those your goons at IHS that you know to stop playing with the emotions, intelligence, time and lives of Nigerians.

If you want to know me, ask IHS goons of a guy that was invited and told them to get out of my face.

I know alot of Nigerians need the job, that is why I have still encouraged them to wait, but still search for other jobs.

Before I got this my present job, I applied and I was travelling to so many places (like lagos, ibadan, akure, abuja, kaduna, ilorin etc), facing a lot of discouragement. Some will tel me come 2moro, com next wk and @ the end, notin will com out of it. I did not because of that, go online and start criticising them. I bliv it is not yet my dream job.

If God has destined you for a job, you will get it, no matter the challenges.

Life is all about challenges.

When you knew this job is all about what you said, why don't you divert your attention to another plc.
