Please read the links i put up on this page for immunization. The paed explained very well the different vaccines for different ages and the gap in between them.

I honestly don't understand your card, it's too different from mine.

Immunisation at fmc jabi is everyday, but I believe rotavirus is Tuesday and Thursdays. I took mine on a Thursday.

Stop worrying your head, when you get to FMC the nurses will help you interprete your card. So long as you're humble when asking lol.

Edit: I just noticed your card is the US one. I have absolutely no experience in this regard but you may have to take some catch up shots cos our Nigerian schedule is different.
Ok I will.Thanks a lot,God bless u n urs.

By the way, mamas, i'm helping my MIL distribute her soya meal for babies. It's completely natural with no preservatives and made in an extremely hygienic environment. I'm sure of that.

It contains soya, crayfish, groundnut, and corn. You can customize your order if you wish to exclude or include more ingredients like millet and dry fish. You simply make it like cereal for your baby.

It's only recommended for babies 6months+ and for adults.
I've been taking it daily since i dropped and i'm seeing the effect on Hansel.

Let me know if you need.

You don't have to cook this one. You just add formula/milk, add a little warm water, mix and feed your baby. That's all.

I think most babies accept it. My friend's baby takes it regularly everyday and she is doing great. Its the nutrients in it i love.

I dunno if you can mix it with pap. Will have to ask her

welcome to the thread. different children feed differently, my boy takes 30 at a time, my friend's girl takes 180 at a time. you can start with 60-90 then reduce or increase based on your baby's cues.

Rotarix is not free, I paid 7000 per child, PCV is now paid for by Govt so you will be asked to pay a token at private hospital but at govt hospitals it's now free. I paid 1k per child in a private hospital.

I don't think cereal is ok for them at three months o, think it's from four months. Am not good at it sha, I know gurus will say more about it.

Missexiest, 28k for Rotarix and one other? Hmmm, that's toooo much, of all I think it's only rota that is fully paid for by you now, the rest has been subsidised by the govt. I paid fully for pcv 1 and rota 1, by the time we came back for pcv 2 and rota 2 we were told pcv has been paid for by Govt and we just paid 1k for administering and paid 8500 for rota cos they said the price has increase, but we paid 7000 for it initially. We used private hospital. Check elsewhere I beg.

Hello wonderful mothers. Please what soap can I use for my 3years+ son. At birth to the age of 2+, I was using Johnson baby soap for his bath then my sister advised that I change to safeguard soap when he started school. Since I read the post that @ onegai shared on antibacterial soaps and wash, I decided to make a change. A friend suggested dove pure and sensitive soap but I can't seem to find it where I stay. Please help.

Yup. She's bang on.

Solids are best introduced after 6 months and that's the recommended advice from peadictrians, nutritionists, health visitors, etc. I waited till he was 6 months old and I'm glad I did.

I'm thinking of trying dove sensitive but I'm a bit concerned about it getting to my son's eyes as this is sometimes inevitable during bath time.

Please does it contain a "no tears" formula? I know it's technically not a baby's soap or marketed as one.

It's electric....double electric. Medela Pump-in-Style Advanced. I also have no idea why I'm able to produce and pump so much milk. Depending on how long since my last pump, I get between 8-17oz per session.

This morning, I pumped 16oz from both boobs, 7am in the morning. My last pump session was 11:55pm last night. I also try not to pump too much so that my body won't think it's a cue to make more. So I only pump 4-5 times a day and yesterday I got 56oz total from 5 pump sessions
56OZ shocked shocked shocked shocked in a day ?? How do you get to produce that much please? Can you share the secret?

Honestly I don't know. I don't know how I produce that much oo. Maybe because I'm big busted or genetics cos my mom was also like that. I'm even tired. I'm looking for ways to reduce the production sef.

On the flip side, na my baby dey enjoy cos there's abundance in the land of food. Make him no turn Yokozuna na him remain grin cheesy

Does he poo everyday? if he doesn't pls allow him to fart. U can use hot water to mass sage the tummy. Pls don't give him any kanfura o abeg, its a phase that he will surely pass, just massage with hot water i. e put piece of cloth in hot water, squeeze the cloth and gently placed, remove and place again.
