the rule of law presupposes that all men are equal before the law but in practice this is not always true. Why is it so?

Law is an ass_loopholes for the lawyers_think of why field of law stick to Latin_when they can use plain English. They do that to bombard and mesmerise the "unlearned" fellows.

It is not that simple the way you perceived it to be_if it were that simple_ there would not be need for lawyers, we would all interpret the law and defend by ourselves and that will spell doom to the law profession.

The law is only a tool created to give the people an impression of security and hope. The truth is that humanity has always been controlled for the benefit of a few rulers. The rulers who also dictate what is law and what is not.
