Don't submit originals of ur certificates, a photocopy will do, you can certify it in a court but its not a must. Peeps don get TRV with just photocopies of their docs. The only docs that should b original is any documents from your bank and your sponsors then your CIC documents with your signature and probably your Canadian school docs. It might get lost on transit or they might not return it if TRV is approved(I think)

Hi justwise I opened the site but can't find the procedures you have written. I only see apply online and when i click yes it takes me straight to gckey without asking questions,or if I have gotten a code or not. Is there anything I am supposed to download to get it to work the way you have stated or can you kindly do it for me. Or recommend a good agent for me.

I'm presently in MUN though I arrived very late but I was able to meet up with classes and assignments. It's been God.

I wish all TRV applicants the best. Keep pushing, the best is yet to come.

If the email requires me to proofread any documents, I'm sorry you may have to wait a while (one or more weeks). I'm so sorry but I have a lot on my plate. Proofreading requires focus and time.

The mail is not about proofreading. I just need clarification and your candid advice. It's personal that's why i didn't post it on here. I can wait for your response, hoping it comes as soon as possible.

Guys pls help me look into this question:

"Assuming one gets admission into a research based masters with full funding, will the remaining stipend available after paying for tuition, be able to sustain him just to survive, without taking frivolities into consideration?"

Wetin una think?
Abeg nairalanders wey dey do research based masters with full funding, make dem talk their average received fund per year. They should not be specific though, even if it is their case, they can say "i know a guy/girl in so and so school doing MAsc receiving an average of $XX funding per year + TA".
Pls make nobody talk V.O matter ooo, the person fit do the TRV package well and show over-enough funds from family sponsors and 1001 proofs to complement it. We are referring to a situation where he is already in canada.

First of all, when you say full funding what exactly do you mean, you dont really need to stress research based masters, fundn can come any kind of masters, it depends.

From what i know most full fundng in quote still expect you to pay tuition, even if it would be reduced, you might need to arrange ur tuition before leaving naija, d funding will come as stipends monthly or so, it depends on you to use to it to replace your tuition this means you wont touch it and keep it, (i wonda how you will survive tho) or use it as living expenses cos you need to pay rent and bills, you would need to calculate your living expenses to know you will spend your money, average received fund depends on the school.

I hope this helps

I will like to add to @ rheginarh's answer. The scholarship depends. I got a scholarship in university of Manitoba, full scholarship @17,500 CAD per year for 2 years and also an entrance scholarship of 5,400 CAD and also another scholarship wc will b awarded if i keep d good grades till after my winter term n that scholarship is 14,000 CAD. I asked my supervisor wat financial preparation i need to do on my part and he told me to ONLY get my ticket fee and a little pocket money like 1500 CAD till i start receiving my stipend.

Bro I agree with the spirit of your advice but it is too cut and dry. It is not true that you will for sure be denied a visa with company sponsorship. I know someone on this thread that got his TRV with a very compelling company sponsorship. I went through all his documents so I am 100% certain. Also he isn't the only one. Where I would agree with you is that it is very hard to get a TRV with company sponsorship.

For the sponsorship to be credible, then the applicant's course has to jive with the company's current/future business, the applicant's Canada program must be unique and very rare to find in Nigeria, the company must have a very fat bank account (imho, at least 7-10 times how much they will spend on you per year), you need to have a lot of highly skilled experience with the company (basically, why should they sponsor you if you've only worked there for a year? it wouldn't make sense to the VO), it is difficult for the company to hire Nigeria employees in the skill area for which that they are sponsoring you, the company should probably have a prior history of sponsoring your trainings (e.g. attach prior sponsorships for trainings in South Africa or wherever), you are already very well paid by the company.

You also need to get a lot of credible documents from the company (including letter(s) from the owner(s) or board of directors, registration documents, sources of funds...), etc. So I basically agree with the spirit of your advice but your advice shouldn't be binary.

cc: @spores99. I can categorically state that your chances of approval with company sponsorship are slim to none because your course (international business management) doesn't seem like a course that warrants a company to spend over $20k CAD per year. Sorry to be so blunt but just want to be clear. I do stand to be corrected though, because every application is unique.

PS: Disregard this post if the company sponsoring you is owned by your parents. Company sponsorship is very ok if it is solely owned by your parents.

@thesoj pls can u advice on dis. My father In-law is sponsoring me and he owns his business and a manufacturing firm. The SOA he gives is his company acct. Is that okay?

Please I need help with this. I had applied for an undergraduate canadian study visa but was denied twice. The first reason was with regards to my sponsors business registration documents that I didn't submit and the 2nd refusal was "Purpose of Visit". This was in 2014/2015. I recently reapplied for admission in same university and also paid school fees in full. For now, my sister who stood as my sponsor in my previous refused applications, do not have the financial capacity to stand as my sponsor for this application but I have able church members who are able to stand as my sponsor and co-sponsor..... I really need to know if this will work please can I get thoughts on tips to help my reapplication? Thanks

@ just wise and anyone in the house who can help. I keep quoting but no one ever replies. I have managed to create an account. There were some technical difficulties on the website. Now please my question is should i click yes or no as answer to the question if I have lived in any one of the designated countries for 6 consecutive months in the last year.

2) when I click on yes, medicals is put on the list of required documents which needs to be uploaded. But I have not done medicals yet

Does this mean I have to upload my medicals now am applying or I can upload other requirements and leave the medical blank when submitting and wait till they request for it. Because I have not done my medicals yet. Please answer it's urgent.

Or should I just click no. Cuz that medical requirement does not show up on the list of documents I need to upload when I clicked no. I am confused
